Persona Q2 announced for 3DS (Switch discussion = ban)

Probably not a coincidence. I would be REALLY surprised if they actually added P2 characters on this.

Same here but that cast was great so id be ecstatic if it happened. PQ2 could be the most persona-esque since eternal punishment depending on how this plays out.

So ready for this, that I should really finish persona q, :)

Haha, same boat. I think I'm on the last dungeon in PQ. Something else came out, I think one of the fire emblems, and I had to put it down but haven't been able to come back around to it.

Don't hurt me like this, i'd buy a collector's edition just to prove to atlus that p2 still deserves some love :(

(3DS games are getting expensive as hell in Brazil rn)

Is persona q fun?

I thought it was really fun, the puzzles were interesting after the simple ones from the first dungeon, the dungeon design was great (specially the last one) and the battle system was very interesting, although highly unbalanced. I like dungeon crawlers so I enjoyed this, but if you like persona more for the story then probably not, as it had a predictable story and having such a big cast meant a lot of them were entirely reduced to their quirks. Still did have some surprisingly neat scenes in it though.

Eternal Punishment has the best Persona cast, but I think that ship has long sailed, it'd be kind of weird to bring the P2 cast now of all times after so many years of being ignored.

I loved the Etrian Odyssey games, but fizzled on PQ after the first dungeon. Really didn't care for the new lead characters, and the changes in tone and personality to the old cast really did push me away somewhat.

It's an alright dungeon crawler though(based on the first several hours at least) and has far more personality than the EO titles, but be warned you may drop it fast due to its pacing and narrative foolery.

Yeah, just like them realizing P3P FeMC existed or something

But i really wanted a joker showdown :(

ehhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

Gameplay is ok, Music is dope.

Story is the most fanservicey thing ever.

Hmmm perhaps with P5 characters I'll end up liking the thing anyway, lol.

Yeah, I'm more of the person that plays Persona for story more than anything else. I might still check it out.

I can see that happening if the cast moves away from the original.

PQ is incredible but they butchered 99% of the cast and there were 10 hour long gameplay stretches between story progression, for what is worth.

It's part of why I haven't bothered to get the game still, combined with hitting at a poor time. I feel I'd probably be better served getting through the Etrian Odyssey games sitting in my backlog rather than getting PQ.

Still, that might be a poor call, but they'll have the game digitally and hopefully a good sale comes along at a good time to grab it.

I hope it takes place after P5 just because (P5 endgame)
I want Akechi to fucking stay dead and out of anything else related to P5, but fangirl money will probably convince them to do otherwise.

PQ is very good, but it isn't up to par with the two franchises it combines. It was a great effort and I'm hopeful Q2 will be even better.

It taking place after P5 really wouldn't change that.
Why do you think they never really showed him getting shot. You know that if it also takes place after P5 they will just come up with a dumber excuse as to why they would be working together instead of just simply pulling the P5 crew from the timeframe of the 1 month they were all working together.
