Is he even on Twitter?

What do you all expect PR to say?
Xbox one had an amazing first year and it totally destroyed PS4 in 2014
launching with Forza 5( good) Dear rising 3( good) and Ryse( shit)
PS4 launched with Knack( ULTRA shit) and Killzone ( shit)
in 2014 xbox one got Titanfall( amazing and would have been a masterpiece if it had more content) Sunset Overdrive( amazing) Halo collection( masterpiece of a collection despite the matchmaking problems) and Forza Horizon 2( masterpiece)
while PS4 had Infamous( shit) and Drive club( broken shit)
in 2015 was better for PS4 because of Bloodborne alone, ps4 got Until Dawn( okay) Bloodborne( masterpiece)
while Xbox one got Halo 5( amazing) and Forza 6( good) and Ori( masterpiece)
2016 was a tie between them, ps4 had Uncharted 4( good) Ratchet and clank( amazing) SF5( good but broken) Salt and Sanctuary( amazing) and The last Guardian( ULTRA MEGA shit)
while Xbox one had Quantum break ( shit) Gears 4( good) and Forza Horizon 3( masterpiece)
but in 2017 everything changed and ps4 is completely crushing Xbox one and we're only in the second month of the year
I wish Phil would learn and block the likes of Crapgamer, Tim dog and pretty much all of the other crazy asses with that scorpio symbol. They hurt more than help the brand.
Except that performance for those games is down compared to last gen, despite Xbox One selling better than 360. 3rd parties own the lion's share of the multi-player, games as service pie, and the audience on both consoles seems to prefer the third party offerings to Xbox's exclusives. When Ubisoft, EA, and Activision are all beating you at your own game, maybe it's time to try a different approach?Or people are looking for games that the company has historically failed to generate a decent amount of sales on, and dislike the company's trend towards multiplayer service-oriented games.
I mean, I'm fine with it, but it's obvious according to this thread and the many like it, that many others aren't.

They don't represent the majority of us xbox owners and are downright embarrassing in how they conduct themselves. It's like surrounding yourself with a bunch of yes men except they're also borderline racist nuts.
He also doesn't wanna piss them off to where they stop buying their stuff. It's a double edged sword.

]He shouldn't have said anything in terms of this[/B]. He's obviously not going to say "it's not the best" but saying yes would be a bit silly considering the 360 gen was better for the brand.

Scorpio really needs to be a new gen, with full backwards compat with 360 and XB1.
Xbox 360 suffered a lot from the RROD.
I wonder what Don Mattrick would have said?
In my opinion, the Xbox One is a complete flop. Apart from a few outstanding exclusives, and the excellent backwards compatibility initiative, it offers nothing that I can't already find on PC or PS4 - and done better on said platforms.
The hardware was a disaster from initial concept to launch. Underpowered from day one, I feel that MS is over-reliant on a key demographic that eats up the big Xbox franchises. Surely this pool of players is shrinking, both due to a lack of exclusives and great competition (from Sony especially).
I myself bought the Xbox One in good faith, having been more than satisfied with the 360. I'm struggling to understand how they sell so many consoles, when they don't appear to be putting much effort into pushing original software for the thing! Oh goody, Halo Wars 2. And that's IT for months.
I hope they can turn things around with Scorpio, otherwise I have not seen such a one-sided console war for generations.
Speaking of Xbox 360. How many revisions of that damn console did they produce? Jasper, Xenon, and like 4 others or something ridiculous like that right?
It's not that bad. You are lucky you weren't there for the PS2 generation. MS just needs to do a bit more and they're right there.
Snip....
True, and to Xbox's credit they have done a good job of this with a few genres. They have the only big console RTS like you said, and they are at the forefront of the racing genre with the Forza brand, they have the best racing games on the market and Sony has basically ceded that ground to them. The problem is that those genres are pretty niche, and they don't really expand their audience much because that's an audience they already had. The games they have in the big, popular genres are underperforming relative to their franchise and to genre competitors, and they aren't cultivating much in the way of new IP. Your 'game like Splatoon' example is moot because they aren't doing anything as creative or exciting as that. The one unique game in the multiplayer space they do have coming down the pipe is Sea of Thieves, but the level of excitement for that title is muted and I doubt it becomes a Splatoon level succcess.Or you try and find areas that aren't exactly exploited but still within your strengths? For example, an RTS game. Or something in the vein of Splatoon. Or anything that isn't a shooter, but still makes full use of the core Xbox Live featureset in both a new and robust way.
Singleplayer games are not necessarily the answer. There's still a lot to be done in multiplayer.
I love DS and have 100% them all. I tried the demo for Nioh and didn't like it. But that doesn't mean anything. However, Japanese culture/style games are definitely a taste thing. And Kingdom Hearts is not a "Japanese style game"
While i would like to see more 1st party options and exclusives, I've definitely enjoyed the offerings this gen over the last 2 and have many more hours played in games than before. To each their own. It's all opinions.
PS2 gen wasn't that lopsided in terms of games, which is what we the fans care about. GameCube arguably had a better lineup than PS2, and even though XBox was comparatively weak it still had some unique titles.
This is a quick and dirty list excluding some minor titles gaf likely won't care about.

360 in the same time frame (1187 days) had more exclusives and a different variety of exclusives.
XB1 list is mostly Halo, Gears, Forza and remasters
I counted stuff that was exclusive for more than six months to the 360 and/or was console exclusive like Mass Effect and Bioshock.
the Trump comparisons are gross. There's a difference between being a figure head at a giant company and fucking President of the United States
I agree. If you must, please use Baghdad Bob instead.
What else would he say?
"Hey guys you know what? You're right, this has been total shit but we sure are trying!"
What he said is essentially the expected answer given what he was quoted from Jason.
