its good, really. So its not PW good, but still, its a whole lot of not bad at all.

Normally I'd say Hotel Dusk needs the support, but I think PW needs it just as much if not more. PW isn't anywhere near a big enough franchise to coast on its name alone.
I'm worried now that the DS lineup is MUCH stronger then it was when the 1st PW came out, and now that the novelty of the 1st game is gone, the sales for Justice For All won't match up with its predecessor. This is a franchise I actually want Capcom to milk for all its worth, and they need for PW to break out of being a niche hit and make them some real money before they do that.

On the other hand, Hotel Dusk is a rare, mature themed Nintendo published game in a genre that NEEDS more support.

we need to send a message to publishers that adventure games will sell in America. That way we get neato keen games like Professor Layton and Capcom and Konami's stock trader adventure games. Project Hacker looked pretty cool too, eh?

Maybe it's just me, but I want an "Ema Skye, Ace Scientific Investigator" game. Capcom needs to get cracking on that as soon as they finish Jacksonvania.

mmm just no,touch detective is incredibly easy and boring
as for the OP,did you play the original phoenix wright? if you did,i'm pretty sure you would already know if you wanted to pick it up or not and if you didn't consider that justice for all
is a sequel and therefore you will enjoy JFA story more if you played the original
