Now I want to see Max and Furiosa.

Jaegername: Chrome Interceptor

Edit: Some people seem confused, so here is a crash course in Pacific Rim 101.

You want to drive one of these:

And you do so with a neural interface that connects directly to your brain, so what movements you make are mimicked by the robot. However, it's too much for a single brain to handle. Because reasons.

So two characters are necessary. But it can't jsut be any two characters. They have to have a certain synchronicity with them, which can be because of a similar past, or correction, or something. This makes them drift compatible. Resulting in this.

So your job is to pick two characters who are drift compatible and what kind of giant robot they'd operate.

So the thing about drift compatibility...

is that all of its potency as a concept was pretty much murdered when the writers decided it would be cool for Idris Elba to decide at the climax of the action that he's a baller and therefore can drift with anyone.

Ridiculous.

It's a Pacific Rim reference, you plebs.

Drift-compatible: Geoff Keighley and Reggie. The Jaeger's name would be Reghley.

Fine, I'll explain it. For everyone wondering wtf is going on:

Drift compatibility and Jaegers are both Pacific Rim references. Jaegers are the big robots in Pacific Rim and they're piloted by two people who are mentally linked together to share the strain that comes with piloting the mech (the Jaegers are partially piloted by some mental interface stuff).

Two pilots need to be drift compatible in order to pilot a Jaeger together, meaning they have to (in an easy to explain way) need to basically think alike.

He is Idris Elba tho.

I've seen Pacific Rim and that makes sense to me now.

They are definitely not terms that I stored away in memory to be called back on without any other reference, though.

Didn't they say it was rare for people to be able to go solo, but it would kill them at an accelerated rate?

Oh without a doubt Master and his good pal Blaster would be drift compatible. Would just need to come up with some sort of double decker Jaeger set up.
