Every savory sandwich requires a dill/kosher dill pickle.
Who else saves the brine after you finish the pickles to make more pickles... or to flick pickle juice on your sandwich for flavor?

I like other pickled vegetables, but I don't like generic fast food pickles - they just add that sour taste to the food. Some of the better burger shops that brine their own pickles though such as Roam... I could eat those pickles all day without issue.

Man, now I'm craving a burger from Roam... so much better than Super Duper or the other overhyped chains...

i got a burger king burger today and damn it is so much better with pickles and a slight amount of ketchup. I usually never put ketchup on anything.

Biting into a burger and realizing the pickles on it are sweet is literally and objectively worse than mistaking an oatmeal raisin cookie for a chocolate chip cookie.

Also oatmeal raisin cookies are better than chocolate chip cookies.

Pickles are literally one of the few foods I can't even force myself to eat to seem polite or something.

Absolutely vile tasting.

BK's standard hamburger comes with pickle, mustard, ketchup. The "basic but good" approach.

They know what's up.

what the shit are sweet pickles?
Pickles that have been infused with corn syrup, probably. The kind you find in sweet relish, too.

I'm not a fan. Prefer standard sour dill pickles myself.

throw a couple extra on.. move them so that every bite involves a pickle.

My wife and I can sit and eat a jar of spear pickles in one sitting.

I like pickles on burgers well enough, but I've never heard of Larry the Cable Guy so the choice was even more clear.

Are there people in this thread who don't know the magic of sweet pickles, spicy pickles, or the strangeness of peppermint in pickles?

Great? No, I can't say they're great. They're good, but I don't enjoy them outside of them being a topping for a burger or sandwich. I couldn't vote for either option.

To hell with pickles. I like my burgers to be meat, bread, mustard, and ketchup.

You subsist on baby food, what the hell do you know?

Anyways, hell yes I love pickles on my burgers (and hot dogs, and sandwiches, etc.) Along with sauerkraut, pepperoncini peppers, etc.

Sweet, or bread-and-butter pickles can, however, go straight back to hell.

Pickles are great, but not mayo. Where's that option?

I like pickles

but

I don't like them on burgers because of how overpowering the taste is, imo. Plus sometimes they're really soggy and ruin the bun >.>
