Activision would release a Call of Duty pass separate from the other one, though.

Could somebody give me the elevator pitch for this service? Is it game streaming?
I'm still waiting to see how EA handles adding/removing games from the service long term before jumping in. I have a feeling that the Vault is going to end up a few years behind current releases once their current gen library fills out.
More like a digital rental service. You pay $2.50 per month and you get access to a growing library of games and a standard 10% discount on all EA products.Could somebody give me the elevator pitch for this service? Is it game streaming?

And instead of streaming the game you'll download them, so no lag, no compression just the full game like you'd get as if you had purchased it digitally.

It's best compared with PS+ and GWG, only games are always available not only during a select time period and you get a standard discount on EA products.
You also get 5 hours (I think that's right) of playing new releases 7 days early. Which is a nice way to dip your toe into the full game, and could then buy at a 10% discount if you liked it and your save file carries over. So, that's pretty awesome. Haven't bought it yet, but it's also a nice way to get a jump on a game you were going to buy it anyway.
Still, value is legit.
Saw this and grabbed my phone to set it to download. Then saw $35.99
I'll just have to dl it later

Best 30 dollars ever spent.
The gift that keeps on giving. The end of the industry as we know it is pretty awesome.
$40 game free on a $30/year service (that has other benefits).
I don't see how anyone can still call the service a bad deal.
To be fair, it's 5.00 a month or 30.00 for the year, so the monthly rate is a bit pricey.
I did the monthly rate once and then jumped to a 12 month once I decided it was awesome.

It's not game streaming (thankfully!). It's almost exactly like PS+. You get discount on all EA games and some older games appear in the Vault where you can download them for free and play them until your subscription runs out.
So far there aren't many games in the Vault, but it's still a solid lineup for $30/year. Peggle 2, FIFA 14, Madden 25, Need for Speed Rivals, Battlefield 4 and now Plants vs Zombies Garden Warfare as well.

Edit: StoOgE ah yes, sorry about that.

I think you have to download it from within the EA Access app.
It's EA and Sony rejected it which makes it technically xb1 exclusive. Pretty much the prefect storm for console warriors$40 game free on a $30/year service (that has other benefits).

Not free for me at the moment.
Will probably have to wait a bit![]()
Does this mean I can play dragons age a week early?
edit:I guess so (but I bought on PC already)
Amazing game. So far EA access is killing it. And people were laughing their assets off and hating on it when it was first announced.

Will games only ever get added? Or will some get removed time to time?
I, for one, still think EA has a yet unrevealed end game because this deal is too good. And too good deals don't stay that way.
Whoa, that's pretty awesome of EA.
Kinda feeling like I shouldn't bother buying EA games any more with this program. Hope UFC pops up soon....
I'm sure it will. I'd imagine NBA Live is next with UFC to follow. I'm surprised NBA Live isn't out yet actually.
I'm curious how long are you willing to wait? If a game is new to you does it matter how old it is? BF4 was the only game I had. I was never going to guy the other games so regardless how old they were. They're all new to me.
