Yeah you are right. They could never make 4 games at the same time while 1 is nearly done,1 is a port and 1 is 100% work.

It's a relatively small studio (a poster a few posts above you said roughly 150 employees), I don't think there's a good chance that they've been working on 4 games at the same time. Especially because they've been really busy last year, too. The Rising team has finished the game just a few months ago, I don't think they are already able to show off what they are doing next.

More importantly it's not about whether they could or couldn't. Nothing in the tweet implies that they'll announce a new game. It's just stating that it'll be an awesome E3 for Platinum fans. And how couldn't it be? They are showing their first hoorah in the PC space, something that was long requested by fans. They'll show the sequel to their most popular game for the first time. They present the new game by their most popular director. That's pretty damn awesome.

If Platinum Games were to release a sequel to Anarchy Reigns, I hope they pack in more single-player content. Maybe add some RPG elements as well, like the ability to level up and gain skills, buy items, interact with NPCs in towns etc. I doubt it'll happen though... :/ In any case, I hope they'll announce something good at E3.

I would honestly rather see something thematically closer to "MadWorld", personally.

The main things I would want would be basically the option for a more "standard" control scheme (similar to Anarchy's), a more extensive combat engine, along with MadWorld's nice bit of environmental interaction. It's like they always came so close to being the kind of "modern day old school brawler" that God Hand was, but for a lack of a few things...

In any case, anything that would give us yet another trip to Jack Cayman's side of the equation would be appreciated.
