Another realistic FPS for me to play? snooze.

The randomization sure is cool. I should get some LAN play going, probably.

This is like a really really good version of Brothers in Arms or a really really good action version of Full Spectrum Warrior.

And it's cheap.

I think it's awesome too (although I think BiA is better). A compilation is coming in early April with the expansion pack for those who don't have it.

I liked the multplayer. Shooting people with pepper balls and tasing them. And then capping people in the head right after capturing them yet still scoring a 5.

I loved SWAT 3 and I like SWAT 4. What keeps me from playing are the loading times . Awesome game though, some missions really creeped me out with the music and level design and stuff.

Awesome game, and weirdly enough, can be very creepy (that old lady's house with the crazy son).

how is multiplayer, does it have an rs6 feel to it?

I'm glad this is getting some love. Not a huge amount, but some

SWAT 3 was great, but my impression was that very few people knew or cared about it.

SWAT 4 is a better game, but not by a huge amount, IMO, and I'm glad people are actually interested in it.

Definately has some of the best co-op ever. The randomization of the enemy placements boosts up the replay value to insane levels. I've played Red Library at least 50 times with my buddies. The enemy dialogue is also hilarious at times.


Me: *pepper spray's guy in the face* Get your ass down!
Him: *while coughing* Fuck you!
Me: *plants his face with buckshot*

Level design is fantastic, and the later levels are ridiculously intense as you go up against essentially heavily armed mercernaries as opposed to simple criminals. The Tarrone mission is creepy as hell.

The expansion comes out tommorow and has 10-player co-op.

Hmm.. I guess it's a bit like Rainbow Six in a way. People go down with very few shots, and the movement speed is even slower. What sets it apart is the fact that there are non lethal options (pepperball, beanbag shotgun, pepper spray, etc..) The VIP game mode is interesting too.
