How about support for HDD larger than 2TB and fixing the bug that won't let you install anything even if you have more than enough space.
Your beta experience will be even better if your PSN friends sign up too, so round them up. However, dont wait too long to sign up we can only accept a limited number of beta testers, so get in now before its too late.
I'm guessing this last paragraph on the EU Blog means we can look forward to more social features;
Woohoo.... more Community features I'm guessing....
Next update needs to be before VT and NEO and that is Oct 13.This one seems a bit earlier than 6 months, I thought it was something like October-April previously?
Didn't it go up to 4TB last time? It's finding HDDs that physically fit that's the issue.
Bring on external drive support
Didn't this brick quite a few consoles last time?
Neo is coming.
What's wrong with that? Some of the social features are pretty cool. Being able to set up an even and invite people to it, and have your PS4 automatically start up and join the party... That's a cool feature that my friends and i make some good use of.
I think OFW 4.0 will turn regular PS4 in Neo.
I guess that answers my next question "does anyone actually use this stuff."

Where's the UHD BD stuff coming from? I was under the impression a hardware upgrade was required. Or is this just some meme?
(Yes, I'm aware there's no feature list yet but kinda curious if these are realistic rumors)
No. No. No.
This will be a significant update, that will finally unlock the UHD blu-ray capabilities... You know, the feature the PS4 shipped with in 2013.
I didn't hear that, obviously that physical size is a problem.
It did, PS4 now supports 4TB

A Neo Console shipped in 2013.
It's an emulator wrapped around a game.Update the PS2 emulator on PS4.
At least the PS3 PS2 emulator had options, specially to fullscreen games.
I'm not saying the current social features aren't useful, but there are many other improvements that I would rather see before any additional Community features are added.
Bring on external drive support
Would be awesome, but I doubt we'll ever get that.
I think this won't happen for security reasons. Would love it though...
Honestly can't think of any additions or improvements that are important to me.
Bitstream? Bitstream.I wish there were more playback options with Blu Rays as the audio mix is horrific when I play movies through the PS4.

So what does Sony do for you if their update bricks your console?
