I'd actually love for them to go back to the PS1 start up; ultimate nostalgia.

The Dutch Gaming Show Game Kings has made list of games that would realistically come out within 1/1,5 years. That list was extensive and basically tied Xbone & PS4 pretty much, taking in account for things like AAA titles, Indies, 1st parties, third. They did not completely ty in all those categories but mostly, but overall, adding everything up it was pretty much a tie.

can't get one day one...but will definitely get with 2014 tax return probably with Infamous and Witcher 3....I am satisfied, but still not overly impressed with what new experiences next-gen will bring. but I'm still satisfied with this generation tbh, and just looking for quality experiences at this point. Would love to learn more about those 20 exclusives though, and please, can we finally see an RPG from Sony's WWS. I also hope FF15/KH3 has PS4 as lead platform to push the hardware and see if there's any noticeable differences between it and xb one.

Well since amazon added more launch systems with games and such. I opted for the butterfield 4 and PS+ bundle (499.90) ($10 off because of best buy's $40 PS+ cards). guess I'll go get my money back from best buy.

Xbox was my main console back then, the 360 my 2nd console (PS3 first choice), but for me no second console at this point. I also have much greater faith in Nintendo then Xbox at this point. If I would have a unexpected cash-flow it wouldn't go into a second console, maybe a handheld, maybe a PC upgrade, maybe even something different like clothes. But that contraption is not coming in my house. Regardless of price, literately if someone gave it to me for free I would not want it, I still don't trust that Kinect that's always on (even when it's "off"), even more so after the PRISM scandal.
I do too, but I want something more instant. They talked about the PS4 reducing the delay from saying "I want to game" to actually playing the game. A short sharp boot would do that.

I just want either console to start showing some JPRPG's. I want my next Gen Dragon Quest, Ni No Kuni, and Tales stuff! Also looking forward to colored controllers.

...hmm it's pretty small. Nice use of space with the disk drive and USB ports. It's very subtle and seamless. The back looks pretty awesome like a jet.

Wow that blue line in the middle is actually a power button at the front....this thing is small. How the fuck did Sony make the ps4 more powerful and yet skipped right to slim version and made it less expensive (praise Sony engineers)
This thing is beautiful. It's edgy but also clean and subtle. You can put it vertical and get 2 looks out of it. It's pretty efficient and amazing. I love it and hope it doesn't it change. Can't wait.

There is not another option unless i plan on keeping my PS3 hooked up and honestly i can't say i keep my older consoles hooked up side by side.
I am not a fan of lag and actually only/prefer playing at SSF4AE on arcade cabinets.
With that being said i still would like an option of SF on PS4. I would have to try it before i assume there is lag.

Since Sony haven't mentioned anything I'm guessing they are just retailer bundles.
Sony were very specific in saying they were not talking about multiple SKUs at this stage and that $399 for the PS4 and DS4 with the 500GB HDD was all they were talking about.

I wonder if they had a psEye bundle ready for launch and ganked it to get to the definitive, unequivocal 399 launch price.
There's a LOT of promotional material with the pseye front and center, together with the console and the controller. Even their promotional guidelines would suggest that.

So far we have confirmation that some don't require PS+ (DCUO, Planetside 2). I would hope others will follow.
RP on the PS3 was pants because it had software encoding and devs had to give up processor time to support it. PS4 has hardware encoding and it's an OS feature that seems to have been planned from the start, so it should be better on the Vita.
Fairly certain they said F2P games wouldn't require PS+. Could be wrong.

Loyalty shifts are awesome. You get to see who the real fanboys are. PS3 launch shone a hard light on some Sony fans, and now we're seeing the same happen to Microsoft's supporters. Me, I go where it makes sense.
Which is why I'm nudging a couple of people aside on the Sony couch and putting my feet up on their coffee table. Sup guys?
