Yup. The USB plastic came off from PS5 too according to tournament organizer for CEO. Guess they used “cheap or sub-stardand plastic”.

So thats not actually melting any controllers. Its the USB plastic being ripped off after multiple players connect and disconect they controllers. By pulling out at certain angles it migh weaken the pins securing the blue piece eventually ripping it out.
