I hate to say that I agree. Too many people who don't understand gaming are now in charge of it, and they pushed out the ones who did. It became the biggest entertainment industry, which drew in a lot of opportunistic leeches. Politics over players, cents over customers, etc. They've eroded all of the goodwill they built up since PS3 in a single generation. I used to tell people to buy PlayStation consoles if they wanted to get into gaming for the best all-around value and experience, especially after they saved gaming from the Xbox One vision. Now I'll be actively telling them to avoid it at all costs. And I can't be the only one.

Gonna be honest: I havent bought not even one game on disc for the PS5, and only 2 for the PS4. So 2 discs in more than 10 years.

But regardless, less options is obviously shitty. I bet Sony will raise their store fee 'cause publishers either accept the fee or dont launch on Playstation at all. They have publishers by the balls now.

The worse part in all of this is how movie blurays will also die.
