lol, what? What bad news? Demon's Souls looks great, FFXVI is exclusive for a year, RE8 looks awesome and the price of the console is good.

Looks like Bloomberg statement about bad yields for PS5 were wrong after all. If this means more PS5 will be available till end of 2020, same applies to March 2021 then

More fans is a good thing, especially in terms of noise. There's a reason why silent PC builds generally have a ton of fans installed.

Watch the old uncensored Senran Kagura, Dead or Alive Xtreme Beach and Gal Gun games not being playable on next gen. It's the cleanest way for muh Social Justice Sony to get rid of them.

I also wouldn't expect anything less from a console that is pretty much the same, only faster, than the previous system. It's essentially a customized PC.

I think 99% is great. I'm wondering what kind of enhancement will they get, other than PS4 Pro enhancements? Will they have more stable/higher fps on 4k, or will they have native (not checkerboard) 4k output?

For me it's little frustrating because there's still so much unknown. Instead of that useless rendered bumper during the 40min reveal, they could have added some nice tech info for what the machine is capable of, real pictures, what's inside, or haptic feed back controller's working, and maybe what to expect from BC.

That's one thing I liked MS's approach, that they are relatively more open about their inner workings of the hardware, and I feel like if I ordered XSS/XSX - I already know exactly what I am getting.

Yeah if they go the MS route and require patches to run PS4 discs I'm out. I'll just get an XSX if I want a tethered online back compatible strategy.

I don't think "eventually" makes sense in this case. They are not individualy patching games, they can't. Just testing to see if they work or not. If they do, it's out of the gate.

At launch PS4 BC and PS4 Pro BC modes works for all games except these that require some non compatible accessory.

Now to run in PS5 BC boost mode is needed to have tests if it works... Sony is doing the tests for the games launched before July 8 while every game released after that is required the dev to test the PS5 BC boost mode.

I never finished Last Guardian or Bloodborne and would love to hear that they're also enhanced.
This is basically all that's holding me back from upgrading.
