Sony Interactive Entertainment Shanghai held the PlayStation China Hero Project Spring Showcase in Beijing today, where it announced the second wave of PlayStation China Hero Project titles and shared updates on previously announced titles.


AI-LIMIT is a hardcore action role-playing game created by Palm Pioneer’s Sense Games studio. It has a rich world of exploration and a thrilling battle experience. In the game, the player will control the heroine Arrisa, relying on his ability and will to save the future world full of threats and mysteries.






Convallaria is an online game containing player-versus-enemy and player-versus-player elements.






RAN: Lost Islands is a large-scale multiplayer online competitive game.






Evotinction is a third-person stealth game featuring unique hacking mechanics.






ANNO: Mutationem is an action RPG set in a near future Metropolis after the catastrophe.






In Nightmare (working title) is an horror adventure game by Magic Fish Studio. This is a dark fairy tale of exploring growing pain and self-salvation in which players will wander in a mysterious dream world. It is an adventure game that combines imagination and realism.





Immortal Legacy: The Jade Cipher is a PlayStation VR horror first-person shooter.

Too bad Chinese fans won't be able to procure these in the future without risking a low government rating. How it must feel, getting cool games but being goaded not play them.

Anyway, the ANNO: Mutationem game looks the best IMO.

Unless these are also coming to PC, I don't see many people in China actually playing them.

The games look very impressive. It's about time Chinese devs made their move to take a piece of the AAA pie.

I wonder if Western games "journalists" will ask the devs why there's no black people, and whatever other groups games "need" to meet with their approval.

AI-limit looks to take inspiration from Nier Automata at least a bit - I'll have to check it out once they release it.

Will these games come to the west?

Yes it's one of aims of the project to bring them to Chinese and global audiences. Really cool thing Sony is doing here.
