Sawgrass again this year.
I don't know about other places, but last year sawgrass was packed, then right before entering they separated lines between ticket holders and wait listers, and the wait list line was much longer. I was near the front so I don't know if everyone made it in, but they certainly had a ton of leftover goodies around when the event ended

At 1:15 I put myself on the waitlist, then about 20 minutes later I successfully registered, and just received confirmation e-mails for both. Has this happened to anyone else, and does anyone anticipate it being a problem? I'd remove myself from the waitlist but I don't see a clear process for doing this. I'll shoot eventgrid an e-mail and hope for the best, I suppose.
It's not a problem. If you have gen seating tickets, they will honor those first. You simply won't be there if they call your name for the waitlist.

I was there last year, idk if it was the rain or people were trolling registering but the theater wasn't even full when I went and I was waitlisted

What kind of freebies got handed out last year? My girlfriend and friend are hoping for a No Man's Sky demo, I think realistically we'll maybe get a Call of Duty Beta code and some free digital store cash.

Yeah that's not happening. They do give out beta codes ( they did in 2014 with Destiny) and $5 PSN codes every year.
Nah, I'd rather have free PS4Ks. Let's start that rumor up instead.
It best be a PS4 Neo now. We get to watch them hand out free PS4 Neo's to the press in attendance at the conference and be expected to clap or be happy for them instead.
I forgot about this but just checked at tickets were still available so registered... I'm not sure if i'm going this year but better safe than sorry.

Anyone else attending Daly City? Seems SF keeps selling out so we settled for Daly City (which is closer, as well, to San Jose area)

Maybe they were waiting for the attendees to show up? I remember the front section was fairly empty but the normal/back section was super packed. Luckily I grabbed the last seat

I went to the first one a couple of years ago, wasn't a fan. Not as much fun as watching it with GAF and there was some tryhard neckbeard behind me yelling out trollish remarks the whole time.

Go back to the site and get tickets for Cincy. I just check a minute ago and they are still available. The 1pm errors held up all the tickets
Imagine Fury Road but everyone is overweight and has neckbeards and they don't need warpaint to appear that pale.

Yep for General Seating. Same goes for Waitlist.
I usually go an hour early and get good seats.

For the wait list I assume its first come first served. But the doors open at 8:30 so for ppl with tickets you should get there maybe 8 and get in line if you want specific seats
