Yeah, hahaha, amazing. It was during the Powers segment too. So while everyone was complaining saying that was the most boring part of the show, it was the most entertaining for us.
I didn't hear specifically (the fight was near the very back, I was in the middle) but I remember another Gaffer saying it was, surprise, console wars bullshit. I think one guy was drunk and kept being disruptive and someone asked him to be quiet, he got belligerent, and this one girl started tearing into him. Whatever she said, she clearly put him in his place and he left with the theater staff escorting him out.
I didn't hear cheers as loud in a movie theater until the next year, when they opened with the trifecta.
It was amazing. So fucking funny. So exciting. So dumb. Encapsulated why I will be going to these every year I can until they eventually stop. There's nothing like it.

Anyone from GAF going to Daly City? There will be at least 5 of us attending. Will try to film reactions one way or another, should there be any promising things.
Just make sure they register on waitlist. At least a good third of the theater will be for people waiting in line that aren't registered with tickets and just on the waitlist.
Got tickets for Toronto now, was waitlisted at 1PM. First time going
So excited this was my smoothest year in getting a Toronto ticket
Remember don't give up if you have not received a ticket yet, I remember last year that I got my ticket after 1 hour when they went live so keep at it!

Hey guys question, I already have my ticket, but a friend of mine wants to go, but she found out yesterday. Even if she can't get on the wait list, if she shows up early enough in the waitlist line, will they let her in or skip her for waitlist people? I thought I saw people with no waitlist get in last year.

The only way they will probably let you in is if after the people with tickets get in and the wait list people are all let in and then if there is any seats left open you could come in.

This is exactly how I got in the first year. Wasn't even on the wait list but they still had room so they let me and a few others in.

Last year we gathered right outside the theater and recorded right there on the sidewalk. Tomorrow I was thinking maybe we should hit the Joe's Pizza nearby or something, get something to eat after that conference. Hmm...
I only just got in last year, but I printed my notification e-mail out. They have a list of names to check against so I think you'd be okay with just a photo ID.

What's a good time to be there before the conference?
Seeing the invite say 15 minute before, they will open for waitlist folks. There's no reserve seating, so I don't know when they will start letting people in. I want a damn good seat.

First time I did it (was helping with the line in LA) we got there a couple hours early and there was already a decent line.

Damn. They have it in my hometown of Toms River and in Pittsburgh, but nothing near my current residence in Tampa.
