Playstation heart Taco Bell?

Anyone see the commercial promoting this during Breaking Bad last night? It was a decent commercial and probably the first PS4 ad I've seen on TV.
 
The picture of the PS4 $5 box doesn't match with the description of its contents on the website.

If I'm going to eat a bunch of "beef", corn, and grease I want to know exactly what I'm going to put my intestines through.
 
alright after trying once and giving up, you guys winning has me re motivated to try again. Maybe i'll buy mutiple tomorrow and just save the codes and throw the food out or give it to someone.

i think there are different boxed meals. regardless you should just get a box. there's the gordita box and then there's the crunchwrap box.

the crunchwrap was okay. at least you get a crispy tortilla.
 
Got a box this afternoon. I plan to text the code tomorrow morning when I get up for work, 4am eastern time.

Got a good feeling about being an early bird.
 
Any chance they'll just sell the boxes with no food for less than five dollars? :P

I really don't like Taco Bell, and can't find right sized postcards anywhere
 
I'm about to go and send in 10 postcards to try this out again. I said I'd quit because I lost 3 times, but I have to keep trying. I've been dying for a 1 year of PS+, and the more gameplay I see of Knack makes me want it. Not to mention that I'm probably not going to find an available PS4 for purchase until January-February due to Christmas.

Putting all my hopes into this contest for now *cross fingers*.

Thank you sir! I think I'll do crunch wrap too. I've had one and it was decent, whereas I only great bad things about gorditas.

Now to think up a convincing cover story for when my fiance asks why I'm cheating on the diet...

I went over the weekend, then didn't even give me a box. Just threw all the food in a bag. So, I asked for the boxes. They boxed them, I started driving away. Looked in the bag and saw the MTV boxes in there, so, I went back to the drive thru. Asked specifically for the PS4 box, and, he said "wait, you really came for *that*?" And went to the back room.

Then, the manager comes to the window, and tries to hand me *another* MTV box. And, I had to ask *again* for the PS4 box, which, they finally then gave to me.

Lesson learned: make them give you the specific box. Might take some time, but, the food isn't worth not getting the code.

Dang.. checked the official contest page & prizelogic entry page and they aren't displaying a counter this year. Lame! I used that to win a Vita last promotion... now its just a shot in the dark. Ugh.
 
Can anyone provide some insight on what kind of postcards were supposed to send in for this contest? Can I just go and mail in index cards with stamps on them or what? The official contest rules are a little vague.
 
Used a code last night and didn't win, bought another box today for lunch, we'll see, still don't know if entering at a certain time is best or not

I hate to quote myself, but I actually got response text from "Taco Bell" or whatever at 2:18pm. I texted my code at 11:01 am. That is ridiculous. It was the "Reply yes to enter and confirm" whatever text. When I replied Yes they instantly responded that I was a loser.



However, I already knew that I was a loser cause I got tired of waiting and used the website instead, which also told me I was a loser. Ugh, 2 gameplays, 2 losses, and I hate eating this stuff.
 
I just sent in 11 postcards just now. I'm expecting my codes by Thursday I guess. Me and my brother had the Taco Box for dinner today, so I have 2 codes at the moment.

I put 1 code in about 4:23 and lost. Now I have one code for tomorrow. I don't know when I'll put it in, but all I know is that I'm never doing it from 4:00PM-6:00PM again. I felt I had no chance.

Right now I'm currently 0-4.

EDIT: Crap! I looked at the rules about the postcards again, and I forgot to put my freakin age on them! I hate their rules page, it just looks like a huge big mess that you can easily miss or overlook something.

I wasted $5 on postcards because of this! I'm gonna take some time and calm down but I am extremely ticked at Taco Bell right now.

So it's calling you a loser for resentfully eating taco bell. So meta.
 
I plan on starting tomorrow with this. I'll grab boxes, get the code then give the food away to the homeless. At least I win some how with each box kinda.

The only bad ps4 ad has been the one where they oversell the social integration aspects with the kid and the guitar playing Knack and Killzone. That one tried too hard. Otherwise they are doing much better ads than what happened with the PS3.

Taco Bell? Even the homeless have standards.

jk Taco Bell isn't that bad. Still I feel sick after eating fast food, not as in throwing up sick but more like "what did I just put in my body" sick. I guess I'm just too used to home cooked meals. I'm glad my friends are giving me their boxes though! :)

I am not a nutrition snob, but I'm thinking this right now. My wife and I each ate a box (and lost via text) - haven't ate TB since the Vita promo.

Now we are just watching The Voice together in a food coma while silently surfing the web.

put my code in at 5:01am EST didn't win. Checked slickdeals form and saw someone else one at 5:01am EST so I must have been either to early or a bit too late :(
 
Entered my last code at around 6:47AM and lost. So now I'm 0-5 :(

So I guess I'm out the competition for now until I decide if getting another $5 worth of postcards is worth it, or by some luck (lol luck) they give me codes for my postcards even though I forgot to put my age on them. Seeing how my lose ratio is going makes me feel like it'd be a waste of money again.
 
lame, I have 2 boxes, but you can only text in the code? What happened with the website? You could do that with the Vita contest.
 
Where is everyone finding 3.5" x 5" post cards? I've looked online and in stores and can't seem to find anything matching that size. I've been thinking about cutting some card stock down to that size, but I'm not sure if they would accept that or if the post office would even allow it.
 
Bah, didn't win. Figures. Might try a few more times, but I'm not going to try weekly or something, might as well save up for the PS4. lol

3 1/2" x 5" are note cards.

If it helps I got mine from my local post office. I'm not sure if the cost of them varies but it cost me 40¢ a post card.
 
I'm 0-2 now. When I was eating my box today...I just don't know how many more I can put down. Taco Bell has gotten to the point for me where it's delicious, but that sour creamy, brown goop that I'm shoving down my throat kinda disgusts me.

Maybe once a week for this contest. Did they ever say when people will receive theirs?
