Playstation Life? Didn't Kaz say "Due in July" ?

My god. The blog is really starting to make a difference. That's a number of times where they've addressed questions from various internet forums. It's seriously time to tie it into the Info Bar. No excuse not to. It's the best source of info and feedback for PSN. PEACE.

One thing that is very interesting to me is how deeply Sony has been partnering with google lately. For one, last guy uses google maps to generate stages. Google is the default search engine for the ps3, and it seems that google has some sort of ps3 specific interface when using the search from the brownser menu. Now, playstation life wll be using google. I wonder what other things they have in the works...

since youtube is part of google you should add that.

I thought I read on the blog that The Last Guy does not use google maps.

It's actually refreshing to see how well youtube works with the PS3, since so many flash sites don't run well on it at all.

Moreso than Playstation Life, I would love to see the browser updated. I wish they would add folders for the bookmarks and update the flash (I guess they can't since there is some issue with the SDK for consoles not being there or something of the sort).

Since PS3 already has printer functionality, I would love to see Sony port over openoffice if that was possible, since my laptop is a piece of garbage that cuts off all the time.

let me guess, it will be one of the 12 surprises for the games convention. another one will be a new sku for europe.

google maps or not, the last guy is going to be so weird. This was just uploaded as the PSN art to PlayStation.com:

Why not use the PS3 webbrowser for that ? Two 400W devices to watch 320x240 crap seems a bit overkill.

Just mentioned it for people that haven't tried it.

I agree that it wouldn't make sense to use it all the time. That said, there are plenty of times my PC is on while I'm on the PS3.

IIRC, the issue with flash is that the newer version isn't support ... and I don't believe Sony can do anything about it at the moment.
