Enjoy!
Nice. The name and artstyle for the game don't really attract me, but now I'm a little intrigued, but not with the current calibration issues.

I can't decide if i should get Playstation Move for the holidays. I'd only be getting the ps move bundle with sports champions, is that a good game for only having one controller to pass around for multiplayer?

Is Tumble really good to play with relatives?

I feel like Move is going to be dead on arrival, no support whatsoever and then when PS4 comes around Sony will come out with all new controllers that they expect people to buy.

Disc Golf is really awesome, as a passing move game. Lots of chatting and braging about the throws, really fun to play with friends.
Tumble is slower, but interesting too. Really fresh and some vicious tricks to use.

Not sure about Tumble, but Champions is a good passing game for disc golf and Bocce Ball. I don't think it's dead on arrival, but time will tell whether or not the software actually sells significantly. So far, Sports Champions is the only Move specific title I've been interesting in buying.

1. Tumble is really good and really does a great job showing off the controller. Tumble's biggest problem is its presentation. It does everything possible to make you think it's boring as shit. Tumble's really hard to explain why it's so good to people. The best thing you can do is get the controller to your relatives as quickly as possible. Once one of them starts having fun with the game it really kind of spreads quickly. And it's a real challenge too.

2. They've sold a bunch of Move controllers and there's a ton of games coming out next year that support it. I wouldn't worry about Move support. It's definitely not DOA.

My big problem is the Wii. It was made for motion controlled games and gets NO support whatsoever. If that can't get any support than to me, Move is doomed to just having motion control "support" in traditional core games like Killzone 3. That's not really what i'm interested in.

Ok so I bought my brother and his family a move package for Xmas, here are the contents

1. Move bundle with Sports Champs
2. Second Controller
3. The Fight
4. Also giving them Mod Nation Racers (Got it free)

I was wondering if this is good enough. Family members includes my Bother, his wife and their kids (2 boys and 1 girl). Should I throw in start the party or eyepet?

The kids ages are boy1 = 11yo, boy2 = 4 years old, girl = 8yo.

I feel like the litte one and the girl will not have much to do unless eyepet or start the party is included.

What do you guys think? I am leaning towards EyePet TBH

Start the part is pretty much perfect for kids. Lot of fun, and they'll love seeing each other on screen with instruments such as a net or a sword.

Virtua Tennis is coming with full Move support and it's reported to be awesome. Killer app.

That has me a bit interested, i love tennis. I played the EA Tennis game for Wii that i've already forgotten the title of and didn't like it though, i hope this one is a lot better.

But is it better than eyepet?? This decision is killing me!...

It's ... Different.
Eye pet is an experience, something to discover. It's more ... Slow paced, and calm.
Star the party is much more gamey, it's instant and fast fun.
And i think it's more fun to see and play.
But I'm not a 6 years old so ...
And btw, something that you may have to think about : playing eyepet needs much more "conditionnal restrictions" with light, camera position, and so on.
On this point, Start the party is pretty luch straightforward.

Nice, I just got accepted to throw a PS Move New Years party! I have most of the gear that comes with the party pack, outside of The Shoot and Singstar Dance. On that note, how is Singstar Dance?

k i swear time crisis was working ok for me at first. now its unplayable. within half a second of configuring i can watch (as i hold the gun completely still) as the aimer runs off screen and gets totally off of the aimer. it's consistently running to the right. i've tried going into the xmb settings and calibrating as well as just turning the magnet off completely. nothing works. i'm really pissed off because after playing sports champions, tumble, and start the party, i feel like namco put in absolutely NO FUCKING EFFORT and deserves for no one to buy their trash. i just don't understand how the configuration process could be so broken when it works so well in other move games. or is it just the fact that its trying to emulate the light-gun and other light-gun games with move suck too? i just don't understand, its literally unplayable.

i don't think my move controller is defective because it works perfectly in every other move game and i've never been rough with it.

am i crazy or is everyone else disgusted with how poor the configuration is in time crisis? i shouldn't be pressing select and reconfiguring the eye during gameplay every 10 seconds.

and i played time crisis 2 on ps2 probably more than every other game lol so no one say light-gun games aren't for me!

So you got 4 move controllers? sweet!

Did you notice any screen tearing at 1080p? I am getting some on 720p

Yep. In the "world selection" screen especially.
Not a big deal in actual levels since there is no scrolling there.

They are not as bad as it might sound in the video. The issue only occurs 75 minutes after PS3 start up and it's quickly fixable via calibration. Don't let that prevent you from getting this game.

Singstar dance is a lot of fun. It needs more songs though. Make sure you watch the video recording afterwords.

Try resetting the Move.

Or watch this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HpnYkXrP8So#t=9m20s

Odd disabling the magnetometer doesnt work for you. It should, cos that's a magnetometer issue.

yeah ill try resetting the move in a little bit and let you know how it works out, but i have disabled the magnetometer and it doesn't make a difference in my game. it still drifts. thanks for your help.

One other question.

How do you have your controls set up? Do you hold or release a button to get to cover?

Yeah, I have 4 Move controllers and 3 PSEyes now. Are there any upcoming games that would benefit from having 4 Move wands, or should I just hand them out for Christmas?

I didn't manage to get into any of the Move events. All I received was EA Sports Active 2.

I got the $200 sonyrewards credit card offer, so I'll be buying 2 Moves through that.

If you're buying them with points from the Sony Rewards site, be prepared to wait. I ordered two move controllers using points on September 20, and still haven't received them. On November 28, they told me they were expecting them the first week of December, which has now come and gone without any word from Sony.

Start the Party is much better. It's instant fun and easy for kids to get into. My 3 year old nephew can even play Start the Party.

They're in stock today. I just checked. Not ordering from sonyrewards because of the $10 shipping fee. I ordered a pair from tigerdirect to save $10 and get 5x bonus points, but they ended up backordered until the end of December. I'm busy with GT5 anyways, so I decided to wait it out.

http://blog.us.playstation.com/2010/12/09/new-playstation-move-sharp-shooter-attachment/

We know that some of you gamers might be a bit hesitant to put down the gamepad, but we believe the upcoming PlayStation Move sharp shooter will make motion control for shooter games quite irresistible. Available concurrently with the highly anticipated Killzone 3 in Feb 2011 for $39.99 (MSRP), the sharp shooter is perfect for gamers who want to experience the most realistic action possible.

The PlayStation Move sharp shooter houses both the motion controller and navigation controller, giving you complete control over aiming, movement and interaction within the game. It will truly offer the most intuitive and immersive control experience ever found in a shooter game. It was designed for both comfort and precision, including easily accessible buttons, a responsive digital trigger, adjustable shoulder stock and convenient access to the navigation controller. In addition, the sharp shooter has incorporated a firing mode selector, realistic pump-action and a reload button that allow for new ways of engagement.

Doesn't look all bad.

First add-on to use the mystical data port? It has various buttons after all and not just a mechanical trigger.

Edit: It has pump action!

I have 4 Move controllers as well...mainly for games against my Brother and friends...when we play The Fight or Sports Champions Gladiator game.....I'd say keep them.

give out the cameras.

Sackboy's Prehistoric Move can be used with one guy on Dualshock and 4 others with Moves, there's actually a trophy that requires it.

I'll probably get that eventually, I like that it has a slot for both controllers. I need one because aiming/shooting doesn't feel as natural when I'm just pointing the controller at the screen, a gun case would relieve my wrist and make up for my lack of imagination.

I'll probably get one along with The Shoot, the demo was actually kind a fun. I gotta have one before Dead Space Extraction, at least.

Tell me more. How do you map reload on the extra buttons provided by this accessory? The one located under the clip for example, what Move button does it represent?

UNCyrus said:
The best part about the gun is definitely the Square and Triangle buttons right above the trigger.

The best part is the Move button below it :)

Clearly the best rifle attachment thus far.
