correct. it's user accounts. not payed ps+ accounts
this also includes multiple accounts you need if you want to buy from a foreign PSN store
and some Sony smart tv user, who buy songs and shows from PSN


does not change the fact tho, that the vast majority comes from (Ps4) consoles

Yeah, it's scoffed at on here because everyone thinks that consoles sales is the end all for success. Console sales is a very basic metric that doesn't tell you anything, much like game sales.

Esp if you are building eco-systems like MS and Sony are doing.

And...another thing that might get overlooked, and I bring this up from time to time in the XBL vs PSN debates.....F2P isnt locked behind Plus.

DCUO, Warframe, etc.

IIRC it still is for Gold. Regardless, nice numbers. Even non subscribing users are potential subscribing ones. And ppl might just buy from the PSN Store and never use Plus.
