Playstation Plus Opinion Survey

Ill have to take it later when i get home but overall I think PS+ is pretty good. Id say its better than Games with Gold personally.

This is just me but i usually buy everything i want within the first week something comes out, so i usually dont care about these games that come out on PS+ or GWG. Like theyre good for the value, just i never usually care for them personally.

It's all relative. It's a pitiful offering compared to their Vita IGC. Obviously the Vita is a bomb, so they have to really try to enrich the platform to make it more enticing. The PS4 needs no effort to sell, so they're putting no effort in.

Based on what? They were launching the service on PS3, and their online reputation was poor. They had to try, now they don't. They're winning, in fact, they've won, and they've tied online play in as a requirement. They could pull IGC completely and still make a killing on + for the next five years.

based on PS3 still getting a lot of AA/A games... not sure why do you want to presume the worst when everything they did with IGC was great.

I did the survey yesterday.
A lot of the questions didn't make sense, mainly because they mixed up "PSN" with "PS+".

It was way too long.

Hopefully I get it because I've got some choice words about this service. You guys are telling them to upgrade from the Kmart servers I hope.

So, I got the email and I wanted to take the survey, near the beginning it asks if any close friends/family works in these areas, I clicked advertising, then when I clicked next and it sent me to Playstation.com advertising PS+... couldn't complete the survey.

dafuq.

They renewed the survey. There is a Vote to Play question in it now and information on the raise for the 3 month thing.
Bumping the topic to let people know it is something legit.

Tell them Playstation Plus went to shit once the PS4 was released.

I think it improved quite a lot tbh. But then, I wasn't all that fussed by getting shitty ports of multiplat games on PS3 every month just for the sake of being able to say I got something that initially cost a lot to buy.

Have you got the link? The link in the OP isn't working for me on PC.

Yeah guys, Rocket League and Grow Home are obviously fucking GARBAGE.

As well as La-Mulana, Super Force Time Ultra,The Unfinished Swan, Outlast, Don't Starve, Rogue Legacy, Olli-Olli 2, The Swapper, Binding of Isaac Rebirth, Spelunky, Velocity 2X, Hotline Miami, Resogun, Transistor, Styx.

ALL GARBAGE, since they don't come in a fucking box or cost 60$. Hurr durr such low quality.

More AAA games and less great indie games please!
We can hope

I downloaded MGS: Ground Zeroes when it was free on PS+, it was less than $60 retail.

I only have a finite amount of time, I don't want to use it on a game I don't really like just for the novel fact that 'only 2 guys made this' or 'its like this indie game with the mechanics of this other indie game'

You seem to be ignoring the fact that all the games in this list are actually good games. If you're ignoring them just because they are indie that's a hella dumb reasoning. Good games are good games.

I'm using my 14 day free trial right now since I bought a fair amount of stuff during the PS anniversary sale.

I like it for the discounts, but probably won't continue it. I only have a PS3, I want very specific games (I have enough now to last a long time) and don't want to just hope that what I want will get on there (then feeling ripped off if something I've already bought does). Putting online behind it and losing all those free games if you allow membership to lapse don't sit well with me, either.

I'll probably stick with just the PS3 and no + unless I have tons of time and money to burn in the future, and/or PS4 becomes SNES-tier.

If by shit you mean that it got better, sure.

Yea sure got better, we used to have months with Bioshock:infinite (less than one year after release), DmC and Brothers at the same time, now we are voting for the privilege to play Grow Home, give me a break.

My Plus subscription runs out in December, and I can't say I'll miss it. I haven't even gotten around to download this month's games.

I was talking mainly on PS4 and particularly in the last year or so, PS3's Plus is also not as good as it used to but you can argue that at least they gave lots of awesome games for it already, on PS4 though? yea a major downgrade there, even GwG is a superior service at this point.

A downgrade of what? They literally never gave PS4 games before the PS4 released. There can't be a downgrade if they are literally downgrading of nothing.
And no, GwG is not a superior service, and if you really think so, you either have some terrible memory, or you dismiss games in very random standards. I mean, try and check the list of PS4 games given vs Xbox One games given. Or hell, Playstation games given vs Xbox games given. In both cases you will find that PS+ has undoubtedly the best library.

Really seems like Black Flag did a number in people's memory and now they suddenly think GwG was AAA games all along.

I'm sorry but based on what exactly would you say GwG is superior? it can't be quantity obviously and quality wise they've been pretty similar

I said currently better, it was better in the last 2 months or so since they've started to give 1 AAA game each month alongside the indies, if they'll continue that way, no doubt it's a better option than the "indies or death" of Sony.

It's not like I can't play indies, some of them are great, but I do want my AAA games as well, GwG takes care of everyone, hopefully they will continue this way so Sony can put some effort.

the only things GwG has given since starting the AAA game a month, as you call it, that PS+ doesn't have is Tomb Raider this month and Black Flag back when they started two games a month in July

neither is recent, Tomb Raider is clearly to promote the Xbox One exclusive sequel, way too small of a sample size to assume they will hold up the quality especially with August having given us How To Survive: Storm Warning Edition

PS+ had the exact same number of AAAs in the service, and at the same time has a crapload of quality indie game as well. Saying that GwG so far is factually incorrect.
They are also not particularly good additions, mind you. Black Flag is already ridiculously cheap to buy for Xbox One, and Tomb Raider is old and only there to get hype for the sequel.

Nope, no survey here unfortunately. I'd love to tell Sony what I think of being forced to pay if I want to play an online game. That "For the players." slogan really sticks in the craw.

And MGS:GZ, it might be a "demo" but it's still a AAA production, and yea I know Sony gave it also, problem is that they are not consistent, giving one AAA every 6 months is not enough.

If MS will have a shitty month in October than obviously it was just a fluke, but so far it seems to me like a pattern.

Yep. PS+ has gotten just as many AAA games for the ps4 as gwg has had on one. I wish people would stop pretending otherwise.

Personally I'd rather get a new quality indie game than a 2.5 year old lastgen port, or a title that has been in bargain bins for $10. They're great games, but I've played those titles already. But hey, people like different things. Some folks genuinely want knack on the service...

So do you only enjoy a game if its budget is large enough or something?
