PlayStation Vita Games Line Up with videos

I'm sure MLB will be there come March. Interested in how they'll use touch for it.

After all these years, Baseball Gamers will FINALLY have a easy way to control BaseRunners.

for swinging, I'm guessing you can flick/slide down up on the screen (over homeplate) in various ways to hit the ball....but I the batting cam might need to be angled alittle higher.

You push down and do a quick down up for a contact swing....and longer attempt for a power swing. Maybe able to influence where the ball goes by sliding back up in the direction you want to hit the ball. So if you time it perfect, it will go where you want it to go.....if not, it will go based off how late or early you hit it, coupled with the direction you initial chose.

almost like analog stick batting.

Sega teasing a new IP for Vita. 'Currently' exclusive to Vita, it's coming from a studio that's being setup alongside half a dozen ex. Sega Racing folk. It's not a racing game, mind you.

http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/20...ly-for-ps-vita

He says we should see it after Christmas. I guess it should be fairly promising concept if Sega's setting up a studio just to develop it, but I suppose we will see...

edit - according to this, the game is an action-adventure title. In hindsight, the above + the news of a new studio opening might have been new thread worthy :\

Interesting, so Sega has a new IP in the works for Vita, there are quite a few unannounced projects currently being worked including developers like MediaMolecule, Sega, Nippon Ichi, Falcom, Konami and etc making games for Vita. It is strange none of the developers that are confirmed to be working on Vita games haven't actually announced anything, unlike with 3DS where we have tons of announced games even if they either vaporware or games that are really early (A Boy and his Blob, Final Fantasy Franchise, Ninja Gaiden and etc). Nintendo made a huge effort to showcase the amount of games that are announced on 3DS. Just look at this list

Sony should have done something similar even if it means that they have to announce games that are really early (Nintendo did this with Ninja Gaiden 3DS, Saints Row 3DS, Final Fantasy working title and etc).

So what are the odds we'll see a Red Dead Redemption: Stories for Vita? I think it'd sell gangbusters for R*, I'd certainly buy it.
I would buy 2 copies if that happen. one of my most beloved games this gen.

This probably doesn't matter to many people here, but apparently Alawar (a big name in casual PC games) is working on bringing their newer games to the PSV. From their facebook page

We're also working on bringing Treasures of Montezuma 3 to PlayStation Vita. It's going to have several awesome features that take advantage of that system's new technologies.

Is it a strategy game. Speaking of strat. What was that. J or korean Dev that is working on crpg for PSP or ps3. Think its good to do a vita version instead

Hopefully with Nintendo remaking classics like Ocarina of Time for the 3DS, Sony/Squaresoft will be inspired to re-up FF7 for the PS Vita.

I'd like to believe that's a no brainer, seeing how most gamers would probably accept new missions in the same world, but with Rockstar's incredibly efficient management, even that could take a decade.

I give all the credit in the world to that group for keeping a straight face around hiphopgamer.I saw other videos of his and didn't think he was nearly as bad as that

He goes extra crazy around hardware launches.

No longer interested in the series, but damn that LBP looks hot.

I'm amazed that it's actually playable. When Vita was announced, they showed obvious LBP2 PS3 footage. I didn't expect a Vita build to be this far along.

There hasn't been much new information since e3, correct? When will we get the next big info drop? I'm dying for something new.
Probably at GamesCom and TGS....

gamescom (August) is the next big show. After that we'll have TGS (September) where a lot of the Japanese support will be shown.

I'm guessing gamescom which is in august.

edit: double penetrated

Gravity Daze looks amazing but what is it? A hack and slash? RPG? etc. I still don't know. They need to tell all that info and show some gameplay walkthroughs to get people on board. Art style and music is great though.

Uncharted is day one, Wipeout is probably day one but i'm gonna wait and see if they iron out the FPS issues. I saw some mighty slow down in explosions on the trailer. I actually like tennis a lot for some reason so i'm interested in that on Vita even though I don't play it in real life and never have. I've played ping pong though and love it, I wish I had my own table but don't have anyone to play with =(

there is time man. Gamescon & tgs

Sony should make their own version of Pokemon by canning the horrendously named "Invizimals" and call it Vitamon. Keep the camera gameplay of course, since this will have one built in, and voila, million seller.

Haha, but they already sold more than a half million in Europe with Invizimals!

Damn. It has been a loooooong time since I have been this excited about a launch. This system is amazing from what we are seeing. We may be looking at the new king of handhelds.

What they have done to Wipeout ;_;

Some of the tracks look like from Ridge Racer cities bohoho
And too much gray and dull colors :(

Slave labor ain't cheap, yo.

Anyone else think an old school, arcade based shooter like Unreal Tournament would be perfect on this thing? Oh man, I want that so badly...

I've been clamoring for something like a new Digimon for a long, long while. Less collect-a-thon, more GAME.

As I remember at least Flying Hamster was already released in Minis, nope? Or just in iOS? Maybe this version takes advantage of touch controls.

Maybe they're waiting to drop the bomb at TGS.

I don't think those "minis" trailers are from actual vita games and I haven't seen them announed as vita games anywhere (except stardrone).

For example, Flying Hamster HD is the iPad version of the game.
