I still don't expect much, but I'm hoping we see the world's locale. We've had Japan, America, and France, something like Australia now would be awesome.

Don't expect that to be revealed. They didn't intend to confirm the Kalos France connection at E3, it was just too obvious.

I wonder which type(s) we'll be getting for eveelution. They never gave us one in 5th gen, did they? We deserve a dragon type.

Hey! I really want a grass owl as a starter.

I should be clear: I don't want this grass owl.

This fake fire starter looks terrible too.

Yeah, ok, all the fake starters look a bit derpy. I don't even know what the fake fire starter is supposed to be.

Have the starters ever been leaked before?

The gen 5 starter evos got leaked before Black and White's release. Joe from Serebii said they were real but most doubted him.

Google "wottergate" if you want to read up on this.

Sweet.
Expecting something in the vain of X and Y's reveal. Maybe not as much shown but starters and legendaries will do me plenty.

I can't help but have really high expectations for those games, after the many Gen VI disappointments.
I try to expect the worse so I'm not that hyped but it's hard.

I want character customization so bad, 60fps solid games at least in battles like Gen V, faster and more nervous battles (Gen V was a huge improvement on this), new/arranged mechanics regarding IVs, EVs, overall better visuals (like Yo-Kai Watch would be great) and colorful Pokémon unlike Gen VI.
I mean, why is Pikachu so pale, with pinkish cheeks which looks even more wrong on its shiny version?

You can have 60fps or better visuals. Your choice :p

As for "colourful", they were pale because it's matching Ken Sugimori's artwork style. That's why.

I really hope those games become the 3DS's Black and White.

Gen 5 is still the best thing Game Freak has put out, and that became painfully obvious when the "wow-factor" on Gen 6's graphics started to wear off

I can't wait till we hit the "nostalgia" part of the Pokemon cycle for Gen VI. XY was great I say. GREAT. I'm honestly bummed we didn't get a Z because I want to go through Kalos again. I'm still holding out for Kalos being part of Sun/Moon in some way.

I both agree and disagree on the Gen 5 being the best thing point.

As far as story and general content goes, I fully agree, Gen V is my favorite. Gen VI is sorely lacking in those areas to me. However, Gen VI brought with it a number of improvements to breeding, the best interface yet(though ORAS's touchscreen has too much imo, doesn't help that the X&Y stuff is its own menu to select in ORAS...), the PSS and in general improved online features, and so on.

So, the actual experience of playing the game is largely improved imo, if only it had content on par with Gen V to back it up. Hopefully S&M will deliver on that point, but with how ORAS turned out in comparison to HGSS and B2W2, I'm keeping my expectations low.

All I want for this gen is my Diamond and Pearl remake. The best region in the series need that 3D Justice.

More than the 3D it needs the interface improvements and a general performance boost lol. I do like Sinnoh, but hated actually playing DP, and Pt wasn't much better in that regard. And going back to play them after Gen V, and especially X&Y was pretty horrific.

It's true that Gen 6 brought a lot to the table in terms of breeding and competitive battling and interface, BUT: 2 out of those 3 things are stuff that I rarely am involved with, so they do nothing for me.

In the same vein I would understand (but not agree) if someone said that all the stuff in terms of single player is not important to them so they couldn't care less about that.

The most optimal thing would be if Sun and Moon managed to balance the focus of Multiplayer and Singleplayer. But, just like you, i don't want to hold my breath on that. I've been disappointed twice in a row, that's enough for now.

Last gen, Game Freak adjusted some base stats on random Pokémon, usually giving them a boost in a defense or attack stat. I hope they so it again. It definately an simpler solution than going through the trouble of creating an evolution.

They did a lot of good on gen5, but also a lot, a LOT of bad.

I really think it's not that difficult to attend the demands of the pokemon fans. Add a dificulty mode, remove the HM shit, make a compelling story (it doesn't have to be groundbreaking, just something to think a bit. Gen5 did it and the world didn't end, surprise), add more megas, what else?

Traditionally, we've gotten new Eevee evolutions only every other generation, so if that pattern holds up I wouldn't expect one this time around.

Hoping to see the starters and eventually their evolutions leaked threw CoroCoro.

I'm hoping to see trainer customization just because it wouldn't be a new feature but hopefully an improved one.

Never cared much for the box legends because I don't use legends at all in game or other wise.

Any in game footage would be amazing. I'm also hoping whatever GameFreake release tomorrow has enough meat on it's bones that we'll be talking about it until the next round of CoroCoro leaks.

My major thing would be is new evolutions to old Pokémon. I want to see old Pokémon get legit evolutions before getting a Mega evolutions.

"Traditionally" we also always got pairs of new Eeveelutions, and all Eeveelutions were based on the original Special types. Said pairs also had one with a type advantage over the other. Gen VI threw that out the window by giving us only one, and one with a brand new Type. We're still missing a Dragon evolution to finish off the original Special types, and the pattern has already been broken.

Gen 5 was the best simply because of being able to browse people's battle clips WITHOUT needing a code.

I could search for clips with a specific pokemon for example and see how they played. It was one of the best features and I spent countless hours watching battle videos.

Nothing was better than searching up some crap pokemon and seeing how they won against a team of OU pokes.

To be fair, if Fairy existed in Gen 1 & 2, it'd have been a Special type :p

Wait, is this even going to be in English? I don't think I've seen any press about it on the English Pokemon Twitter or website.

Indeed. Dragon / Fairy would have been pretty much as Psychic / Dark and Ice / Grass. Wouldn't mind a final Dragon-type Eeveelution somewhere down the line.

I think it would be interesting to introduce a new Evolution Pokémon in Gen 7 though. Perhaps cover the Physical types, or maybe have a new pattern altogether, like multiple Dual-type evolution.

I didn't say we're definitely not getting one, I know Sylveon Bucks the trend in a lot of ways. I'm just saying I wouldn't get my hopes up this time around. lol

Same here, except that I didn't play gen 5. After Y and AS, Platinum felt incredibly slow, so much that I had to disable battle animations (something I'd never done before). I didn't like it much; it's not a bad game, but it feels way more dated and annoying to play than gen 3, in my opinion.

After what they did with gen 6's third game (or, more accurately, what they decided not to do), I wouldn't expect Game Freak to follow any more traditions other than the 8 badges and Elite 4 + champion.

Bring on Drageon, Dirteon and Windeon!

Nah, because I can do both of those things on my own.

Edit: Should day/night cycles be taken away again for some reason though, those evolutions should be available via sun/moon stones instead of needing to own a console, the spin-off game on that console (Gale of Darkness was awesome to be fair), and a weird link cable thing.
I may have interpreted this wrong, but I'm pretty sure they were mocking you.

My guess for the reveal:

Minimum: Full reveal of box legends. Basic region info (IE Region Name, Maybe shape/world location). Default Trainer reveal.
My Guess: That+ some starter info.
Best case: All that+Trailer with gameplay footage. Region Gimmick info. Maybe some additional new pokemon beyond legends and starters.
Really the minimum is JUST the Legends since that's what we know CoroCoro was gonna talk about.

What about those beautiful Hoenn landscape paintings though?
Those were beautifully colored but the ORAS coloring still felt kinda bland imo

Okay, so this is likely just going to be something posted rather than some big live reveal ala a direct, right? Thinking it'd be better to just watch it when I get up rather than bothering to get up a bit early for it...

I also want a DP remake but I don't think we're getting that until the next gen starts on the next handheld.
So what, that could be like 2018?

My guess is we will see the starter pokemon, the name of the world, and maybe pictures of the trainer(s).

This is the MOST we'll see I think, it very well could be these things though. I wonder if they're getting this out now to beat the CoroCoro leaks? I imagine CoroCoro will give us expanded information on the things we'll learn tomorrow, somewhat.

That ORAS beach picture reminded me that surfing ace trainers were a thing.

If they don't have those in every game from now on I will be unreasonably upset. Such a simple yet perfect way of diversifying water routes.

Only thing I really care for is Starters...

I wouldn't even mind these

But it would be totally weird because we already have GoGoat and Feraligator so I don't see why there would be a grass goat and water alligator again.
