Gotta go with Pikachu. What can I say? The first episode had a huge impression on me, and to this day it's my favourite episode.

When I was in the 7th grade, I got the Pokemon Yellow bundle for Christmas. That was the best Christmas ever. It's too bad only Yellow was based on the anime, but I guess that's what makes it special.

Runner up is Togekiss. Others include Lucario, Reuniclus and Samurott. Still trying to come up with my sixth but it may just be the Chespin line. I always wanted a hedgehog or porcupine Pokemon and an armoured one is cool.

Starmie! Because I'm Jamie, so when I was five years old I loved how the names matched up (bye don't judge). That was the main reason for the fixation, although I loved the design and the colouring etcetera. Then I got really into it and Starmie wasn't too shabby competitively, so things just kept getting better.

Gastrodon

Its Water/Ground type is fantastic; immune to electric and it's only weakness is Grass. It's ability, Storm Drain, absorbs all water attacks, so it keeps my Charizard safe from water attacks in double battles. It's also bulky as hell and has access to Recover.

But also he's oddly cute. He makes the most adorable little sounds, like he's splashing happily in th mud. He's the cutest lil' sea slug ever.
