So, do we know by now what's the deal with the anime scenes? They are looking too good to be made just for this trailer, but they don't really fit into the games either. Any offcial word on it? Maybe a short-series like the Kid Ikarus one?
Honestly, It was about damn time they included anime openings into the Pokémon games.
Opening cutscenes with sprites was justified up until GBA games. But with the DS technology and a anime team that can produce very beautiful world building scenes, I was annoyed at how Diamond & Pearl still kept a lackluster opening made with sprites.
If you are going to make a cinematic opening for your game, put some damn effort. So i'm glad to see that Pkmn finally got the treatment is deserves. Yeah, kind if nitpicking, but it's one of the things that I was more annoyed than I had any right to be when DP came out. Glad that B/W used a new approach, and now B/W2 with a even better.
Oh, just learned they are making a Best Wishes 2 anime and made it me curious. Apparently Ash is now speeding up the Gyms, and there will be a World Tournament Junior Cup where Cynthia will participate. I may just go back to watch the anime if season 2 is centered around it.

Well since there's no reason to spoiler it: They got rid of Elesa's blonde hair. WHY?! IT WAS PERFECT! Best and hottest gym leader ever man and now they stain it with inferior black hair. I mad. It doesn't help that the male protagonist of this game still looks like utter shit with his hair being all stupid, seriously what were they thinking with that. Elesa's outfit is also incredibly stupid, though her legs still look great.
