I like Pokemon games, and it was cool to go to these events as a little kid, but now, it's a bit embarassing. It's cool if anyone else wants to go, though. I personally wouldn't have a problem going to an event in Japan, either.

True, I'm still burned you can't legally get Celebi in the american versions, not even cheating to get a ticket, you can get it yes through action replay but can't trade it.

I wish we got that Pokemon Colosseum Bonus Disc Japan got. That helped unlock Celebi.

I hope Nintendo will use the DS/Wii connection for unlocking the rare pokémons rather than doing events, it's better this way imo

Let's hope they make it catchable on Pearl or Diamond, since those versions we'll be able to link up to the older GBA versions to trade Pokemons. I want to legally complete my Pokedexes.

I believe this time they are making you buy other pokemon games to get them all. There is one pokemon you can only get from Pokemon Ranger.

I wish, because at least then I could buy the ticket off of Ebay or something. You have to show up to their Pokemon Journey Across America 10th Anniversary tour (which is still ongoing) and download it directly from them.

I believe this time they are making you buy other pokemon games to get them all. There is one pokemon you can only get from Pokemon Ranger.

I really hope they make it really catchable on D/P, i got Deoxys and Mew cheating but i cheated to get the ticket, since there's no way for me to get it otherwise but by getting the tickets you can trade them and they will obey you, Deoxys and Mew won't obey if you get them directly using their AR codes nor will you be able to trade them since the games know when you're cheating when getting the Pokemons directly.

:lol I went to the very first Pokemon events here in Australia for Pokemon Red & Blue. It was hell. I was in and out like a flash.

I never had a problem with Nintendo's distribution of "rare" Pokémon. All the Pokémon can be obtained officially. You can get tickets to catch them, have Nintendo download it into your cart, or trade with someone who recieved the Pokémon from an official event. Also, if everyone could get Mew/Celebi/Deoxys, they wouldn't really be rare would they?

Myself, I've never been to one of these things. I know someone who follows the series more closely and will take my cart for me. =)

Man if your an adult you shouldn't care too much what other people think about you. I meen if your not hurting anyone or hurting yourself or not breaking any laws then what's the problem. So you like pokemon big deal if they can't accept you for such a small detail they aren't worth associating with in the first place.
