Pokemon Go Confirmed for Apple Watch

Nice snub from the presenter "maybe i'll play this game for more than 20 minutes now"

He's kind of right. It'd be a lot easier to just raise your watch and see what's going on, but also free up things to do with the phone proper. Bummer that the game still can't do minimised activity.

Meanwhile I'm just over here resisting the urge to be salty that it might not come to my Samsung Gear S2
or Android Wear for the other Android folks
.

Did they say exclusive to Apple?

Here's hoping Android Wear gets a version. There's nothing here that cannot be done on other smart watches.

Me too. It's all I've ever wanted. I'd buy a more powerful watch if I had to. It sounds like this one is actually exclusive, though. :/

What is the point in getting a pokemon plus device then? What does the pokemon plus do that the apple watch app not do?

We'll see. I won't give up my hopes yet lol.

I think you can actually play the game just with the Bluetooth thing by just pressing the button. With the app you still need to take out your phone.

This is the worst news I have heard. Mario Run and pokemon go on the watch....WTH APPLE. I have a android phone why cant we get these thing?

As an Android user, are you not used to getting screwed over by devs? Mario Run is at least coming "later." Could be a day, week, month later, but later at least.

I didn't pick up on Pokemon Go being exclusive or not.

They said that Mario if coming out first on iPhone, so you will get it eventually. The problem is that Android users don't pay for games. Until that changes, Android will never be the priority.

That is cool. I'd totally get one if I had an iPhone. I hope there is an Android Wear version or something one day. Be really useful for me.

Wait, so you still have to have the app running, and open on your phone to use it?

What's the point?

The game is definitely very close to death... I guess it really depends on the area but my friends and I were seriously into the game and now we haven't started the app in a few weeks. I'm happy for those that are still playing the game in a tighter circle but the universal love for the game has died down. The new school year started at my College yesterday, and I couldn't spot anyone playing despite a huge mass of Pokestops.

Lol, top grossing is certainly very close to death. It's peaked for sure, but they still have enough momentum to remain very successful for a long time.

I believe the last numbers were around 30 million people were still playing it. Though that's way down from the intial huge numbers, that's still not "close to death".
