Which mutant dog cat thing is the best

Really? Looking at the pic in the op, the only eevee-lution who's eyes don't seem to visually match up much with the others that I can see is Umbreon :o

The rest are basically: colour + white highlight
Umbreon is the only evolution to have a distinct black pupil

Look at Sylveon's eye shape, not color. The rest have thin eyes, Sylveon's are big and anime-like.

My favourite design is Glaceon but lol Ice type.

Umbreon is probably the best if you take account design and usability but I still voted for Glaceon.

They were saying colour so I was using colour :P

But hey, let's tackle that whole shape thing instead then...

Cool. It's the only evolution to have the same shape of eyes as the actual eevee itself sooooo... still pretty much part of the family if you ask me.

I find a lot of the sylveon complaints a bit odd to be honest. I'm not a huge fan of a few of the eevee designs but my reasoning is usually just "I don't really like it" as that's the legit reason, so it's odd to me to see people coming up with bizarre stuff that's often just some some totally made up rules. It'd be like if i didn't accept any eevee-lution that doesn't have something representing the mane so Umbreon, Espeon and Glaceon "wouldn't look like they're part of the family" based off that totally arbitrary outline.
I mean heck, we're talking about a series where a fish turns into an octopus and people are trying to argue that something doesn't 'belong' because they think it's eyes are a lil bigger or something :P
It all just reads to me as people trying to make up 'objective' reasons for not liking something rather than simply admitting they subjectively don't like it.

The whole "simplicity' point I see trotted out sometimes is equally baffling. I mean, Vaporean looks like they tried to stick on as many fin frills as they could: all down the back, round the neck, both ears and one I always felt was a bit extraneous (personal taste here, it's obviously not extraneous to other peeps) right on its head. I'm surprised they didn't add frills under each leg too. Do I think it's a bad design? No. But anyone who points to it as simple has probably never tried to draw it accurately from memory: it's not exactly kirby.
I'm not even sure why simple is even wheeled out as a good thing either, I mean, as long as it's not complex enough to be an eyesore it doesn't really matter a lot to me personally.

As much as I love Flareon, Umbreon. Flareon is the red-headed step-child (hah) of the Eeveelutions and even in Pokemon in general. It hasn't seen a buff in AGES.

I'd like to pick an option in the poll, but I haven't used all of them before. I still have to try Sylveon, Vaporeon, and Flareon and I haven't used Espeon since I was 10.

I'm curious which of these is the all around best. I used Umbreon earlier this year and it's pretty weird to use. It's defensive based so you're likely using Toxic, Dark Pulse, and some support moves for it. That shit can take a hit.

Jolteon I think is the fastest, but that's all I can remember. Leafeon I thought was pretty good. Leaf Blade and Dragon Rush are pretty good moves. Glaceon was ok, just ok.

Pretty sure Sylveon is the best if we're talking competitive. It has the special bulk of Umbreon but with better typing and is able to actually hit back.

I'm a Jolteon guy for life but I have actually never had the latest 3 eveolutions so I can't comment on them. Love every design though.

I'd rank it

1) Sylveon
2) Leafeon
3) Glaceon

and then I'm not sure how I'd rank the rest. I don't dislike any of them, though.

I went by visually, as I don't have any idea how I'd rank them in other aspects such as how useful they are in battle.

I like Leafeon's design best, but Eeveelutions always feel like one trick ponies to me. There's always better, more interesting pokemon to use in each of those types.

Nah from what I know Glaceon is pretty up there for the ice types. And Jolteon has really high base speed.

Glaceon > Leafeon > Espeon = Umbreon > Vaporeon = Jolteon > Flareon >>>>>>>>>>>>> Sylveon

I love ice in designs, and Glaceon's looks so graceful with it.

Love leaves, though I prefer Leafeon's fan art with autumn colors.

Just like Esp/Umbr colors and looks

The rest are okay

Flesh ribbons are not

Espeon is my personal fave, followed by Vaporeon for a good water pokemon in the original game, having picked up Bulbasaur and already gotten a growlithe in Red.

Still waiting for the Aloha eeveelution :(

Eevee is my favorite in general of all the mon. Umbreon is best evolution. Sylveon second best. The rest follow with leaf and glaceon at the bottom.

I like the idea of the Eeveelutions, but I don't care for them. I think Leafeon (the least popular) is the cutest though.

I used to like Jolteon when I was starved for good Electric types (my favorite type).

A lot of them are pretty cool, though the top few would be Jolteon, Umbreon, Espeon, Leafeon and Glaceon. Probably in that order.
I guess I never took a shining to Vaporeon, Flareon or Sylveon.

Visually they're all great. I can't pick a favorite, but my top three are Jolteon, Umbreon, and Sylveon. Jolteon was hyped as a Mewtwo killer in Gen I due to Pin Missile. I don't think this strategy ever worked, but it at least stood a chance. Umbreon is a bit unorthodox as I think most people expected an offensive Dark type in Gen II, but it's still useful to this day. Sylveon is very versatile and definitely my favorite Fairy type.
