I wouldn't have an issue with this either. I think Scyther might actually be a more interesting pick than Scizor because flying would be a bigger part of his kit.

(Yes I know Scizor still has wings but they're such a minor part of the design)

I fucking hate announcers in fighting games that never shut up and have the nerve to show their face on the screen, it was the same way in Persona 4 Arena and Ultimax. Background announcers like most FGs have are fine with me, it also helps that their voice isn't annoying, unlike the one in Pokkén.

I hope the four are another 2nd, 5th and 6th gen, of new types, with one extra secret mythical, maybe Deoxys or Genesect.

A nice look at the character select screen with the up-to-date roster, those 5 slots just have to be filled right, don't fail me now Namco.

Edit: Completely forgot about standard Mewtwo, guess theirs 4 characters left to be announced then.

Regular ass Mewtwo will probably be next to Chandelure, making everything look more centered. I don't think there will be more characters unless we get DLC.

Exactly. And if there were 4 instead of 6 (including the mewtwos) they wouldn't use the bottom row. They'd make it like melee. In general these screens are centered first and then top aligned if they aren't a cross type design. Bottom aligned screens are incredibly rare (the few examples in this topic are the only ones I can really think of) and aren't from recent games. It just doesn't look as nice. And with a big box around the character icons like pokken has it would look even worse.

It kind of seems like she's partially there to train you on when and how to use various mechanics. There's probably an option to have her back off at the very least.

she is muted on local battle, seems to be by default, but local battle isn't even gonna be used for tournaments due to the 30fps change which you can spot in same video
