So, just for the record, I'm not taking the piss; I'm genuinely asking. But what do you consider so harmful for your children about even the little preview in the PS4 dashboard? I know this thread is ironically about the pole dancing part, but it seems to me a lot of what makes this game lewd isn't something kids would pick up on. As in, we as adults who went through puberty and have had prior sexual experiences are more primed to view outfits and situations that show off a woman's naughty bits as something sexual, whereas I don't remember doing that when I went to the beach as a little lad. And it was common for women to go topless here, even.
Going by the cover of the game, which is probably what the PS4 dashboard preview will look like, I don't see anything a child would view as erotic. At least not more so than your average visit to a swimming pool or beach, anyway. Not trying to tell you how to raise your kids, just being curious.
I need to sit down.

Was there really a backlash? Just remember some talk about how it could possibly hold but it didn't last long since we got more ridiculous oitfits in the past.

I have no doubt you are right about this in the short term. My hope is that once console sales are exhausted, TN will give us a Steam version in order to squeeze some more money from PC players. DLC wont sell as well on PC where people can have the girls naked or even make their own mods, but there is still game purchase money to be made by TN. I pray DoA5 made them some good money on Steam

Yeah there was some backlash. Some high profile members of the DOA community kicked up a stink resulting in the botched attempt to ban certain costumes from being used in offline DOA5LR tournaments. Team Ninja felt quite bullied and confused over the whole thing from what I could tell, looking at it from the outside.

Never really liked the outfit. Hell I think I got the code with my preorder and never used it.

It's already been answered, but Dagashi Kashi. It's an anime centered around Japanese sweets, and I highly recommend it. It's more entertaining than you'd think.

The Asian version (not Japan only one) has English subtitles and menus. No dub.

While showing probably more skin, the venus and fortune are at least swimsuits. The girls wearing the aloha outfit are technically topless. Some people got in a huff over that in DOA5LR due to the "degradation" of the characters fighting without any shirts on and the way that DOA would be seen from the outside (as if everyone hasn't already made their minds up one way or another after 20 years). There haven't been any DLC outfits for DOA5LR as revealing as those ones since (12 months ago now), most of the new ones are just tacky crossovers with ugly Senran Kagura-style clothing destruction. I admit that DOAX3 is a different game, but I was still concerned due to the level the vocal minority were shouting at. That's the history of it, but I'm happy to find that my concerns were unfounded.
