I had to work tonight and want to avoid spoilers -- does anyone have a link to Obama's infomercial? I am not seeing anything on Hulu or iTunes.

yes, these are extremely good numbers...

and keep in mind, this isn't as strong a state as CO, VA, NM, IA and the ground game isn't as good as most of Obama's target states.

Oh yes, they've just about hit every base... the elderly black vote, the baseball mom vote, the hispanic vote, the single white dad vote...

That was completely real. He's the McCain camps' new Joe the Plumber. Because nothing says "real" like a carefully crafted surrogate.

Nate described it as a 30 minute version of the DNC, and I'd say it was pretty accurate. Showed clips of people struggling with how the country's going, and then Obama would talk about policy briefly. He also talked about his upbringing and why education and health care is important to him and all his terrorist friends.

Yeah, if anything that should be taken out of the Obama campaign is that he plan to use IT to counter IT used in Globalization.

no. absolutely not. i fricken posted a link to the entire video when there were still 3-4 minutes left in the taped part of the broadcast, on youtube. since then it has been reposted for many other people asking. just click a couple pages back. or possibly up on this page. or ask youtube. seriously, it is not that hard. (sorry, i get tired of constant repetitive requests for something that is very simple to find - once, twice, 3, for, maybe 5? but come on, it is getting ridiculous now)
 
I just hope Obama doesn't get caught up in his own ego like Clinton did. Rubbing elbows with Hollywood assholes every weekend and spending every extra minute looking for his next piece of tail.

Obama seems too grounded to let that happen.
 
Alright, I have to admit, Obama's oft-repeated promise of going through the federal budget "line by line" just rings hollow to me, cause we all know it's impossible. The president can't just unilaterally decide to cut programs. If it were that easy to cut useless spending by micromanaging the budget every president would have done it.

Also, a lot of the Obama footage here seems to just be culled from previous ads.

Nice production values though.

I think Michelle keeps him in line, she seems to be a disciplinarian. Plus, she's pretty easy on the eyes still!

This. I love Bill but Obama is like the 2.0 version of him at first glance without a lot of the moral failings.

Yeah, I agree. It's his equivalent of "I KNOW HOW TO FIX THE ECONOMY! I KNOW HOW TO CATCH OSAMA BIN LADEN! I HAVE PLANS!"

But at least he has other plans besides that. :P

It is pretty apparent that Bill Clinton was like that long before getting into the Whitehouse.

Well, like I said -- I wanted to avoid spoilers so I didn't read over the thread for other links. Plus I was hoping we'd have something better than a YouTube video at this point (like something on Hulu or a major TV network website).

This is probably not the thread to be in if repeated posts or repeated requests for video/data upset you. It moves far too fast for anyone with a job or social life to really keep up.
 
Woh, already 21 minutes in. That went by quickly.

Honestly, doesn't do all that much for me, but then it wasn't targeted at me, but those who haven't seen much of Obama already.

They've picked a lot of great excerpts from his speeches though. God, what a relief it'll be to have someone in the Oval Office who knows how say a fucking gramatically correct sentence.
