I really don't see the appeal of Destiny. It looks like a more serious Borderlands, and Borderlands was great because of how ridiculous it was. The basic gunplay looks average and the seamless multiplayer stuff doesn't look all that amazing. I say this as a massive Halo and Bungie fanboy.

Borderlands silliness was part of its appeal, but on a grander scale, it was great because it's a FPS loot game that has good gunplay and a lot of creativity. It's the loot that kept you coming back after you beat the game 3 times.

If Destiny's gunplay delivers and the loot system is well crafted, it's going to be epic.
