I don't know about what kind of people you see in bars, but most people where I live are health conscious individuals, healthcare is universal, tests are often free, and it's just sheer statistics on the side of the average person. Unless you're hooking up with people routinely, you aren't as likely to be exposed to potential STD's/STI's.

I found it endearing in a way. These people by their reactions are acknowledging that there is more to the adult film stars than their just being objects. The nervous laughter, the timid reactions... they essentially are seeking the ok to go ahead and touch these people who make sex their work. There's actually much less objectification in the video shown than watching these actors at work in the privacy of one's own home.

I'm also quite impressed that the individuals involved run the whole spectrum of sexuality. There is equal representation all around, at least for the binary gender category, and that is incredibly refreshing. It would have been hilarious though if a dude were paired with Nacho.

I think this kind of adds a missing human element to the situation. But then again I could be reading things that simply aren't there.
