For the past few days, I had been slogging through the bonus dungeons in Final Fantasy IV Advance, and had an absolute blast doing so. The Lunar Caves were exceptionally well designed, and the character trials were wonderful. It was nice to be able to go back to such an old, classic game and still have so much new content which didn't interfere with the core story in the original.
Doing all that really got me nostalgic for more old school RPG goodness, so last night I started up a new set of games in Final Fantasy: Dawn of Souls. I doubt I'll play the games through to completion again, I just wanted to revist them once more. They're very pick-up-and-play. Of course, I'm not playing Dawn of Souls portably -- it's sitting in my GB Player right now.
Next week will be Super Princess Peach and Generation of Chaos, and then Tales of Phantasia when that comes out.
