I think my favorite part might have been in-game, it's on the boat where Guy says "Don't be so stingy, Steve!" but he pronounces stingy like sting-y instead of stinge-y.

That could be Peppita Rosseti, who you meet at the start by barging into the actors' dressing room. OMG, her voice acting... I was thankful that she wasn't a party member.

Even the mission briefings are over the top, complete with goofy mission names.

As bad as that is, I think one of the more unsung moments in RE infamy is the final confrontation between Wesker and Jill.

Wesker is so mind-numbingly retarded it's hilarious, and Jill's delivery is among the worst ever recorded. Good lord, what a trainwreck. :lol

You want me to post all the videos from Ace Combat 6? Actually, they are not completely awful. But it's tough to look at because the cutscenes are bad, and with the bad syncing of the voices and mouth movement, the combination is just terrible. And the emotion with the voice adds to the terrible.
 
Ooh, I remembered another winner from the TG-16 days. Vasteel, dubbed by our friends at Working Designs. Absolutely horrid! Couldn't find a youtube video of the cinemas, sorry.
 
Awww this is too depressing. Sure there's bad VA, but the best are the bad in a GOOD way VA. Prime example. Overblood for the PS1. Seriously i have this and it is worh playing just for the hiliarity. Total shit Resident Evil copy that is so bad its good. Let me try to find a youtube vid.

Damn, straight, I'm still mad this never came to the US (with mulitplayer addition). Thank goodness for my modded Xbox and import retailers.
 
It really is shocking how unprofessional videogame voice acting can be. Some good games and characters have been absolutely ruined by their voices and really, there's no good excuse for it. Stuff like that Chaos Wars dubbing should never have happened. I actually can't comprehend how anybody thought that was good, until I realized they just didn't care.

Still, as someone who would like to eventually branch out into videogame voice acting, i must say that the competition is looking fucking easy. :)
