It's from an artist named Charlie White. The creature is named "Joshua" and there's a couple of situations with him in it. Really creepy looking thing. I think the exhibit is called "Understanding Joshua". If you do some image searches around you can find about 6 images of him in different situations.

Alas, my almost three month old beard is nothing but a distant memory.

Before the weekend, I was this scruffy motherfucker:

Basically, my job has very little requirements in terms of personal appearance. I work in private consultancy for a range of clients all throughout central Queensland (Australia) and I pretty much ‘go bush’ every time I’m on a project.

I started growing a beard, and then just kept growing it because I wanted to see how big I could grow it and the fact I was far away from any kind of civilisation. I did keep it reasonably close-cropped for a while, and it suited me reasonably well:

However, recently it had grown well past the point of ridiculousness, and it’s going to be a cunt of a hot summer so I just shaved the fucker off. Absolutely insane how much fucking beard hair was piled up in the sink once I’d done the deed:
