The contest should not die, i'm guessing GAF is working out right now to prepare !

Anyway to justify the bump, here is a one year old pic of me working at ACCOR in France.

They fired me cause they wanted me to do two job for one price and me to learn the second job on my free time, and it wasn't my thing at all. And when i had some free time, i was more playing my ds than learning their thing^^

I like that picture. You look really good and the chair makes you look little.
So they straight up fired you? Like not even laid off?

How is that a good thing :lol ?

Actually no, they hired me for a two month trial, then went on for two new month trial, then told me they wouldn't continue. But anyway i'm more an artist... I felt really bad in this kind of big corporation and i need to be free, even if i don't have quite the financial comfort yet !

OK, I have to ask what type of workout you do. Seriously, I want to look like that.

Not a new pic as the title demands (I've posted somewhat recently anyway) but

Just stumbled across this picture from summer 2008 that makes me tempted to grow my hair back out a little longer (it's between chin and shoulders now)... now I don't know what to do!

Im trying though! Jogging again, use to be in good shape for baseball during HS but I was always thin. The problem is I lack money for the gym and the motivation/procrastination to work out at the house :/

This is one of those rare cases where indecision is actually a decision. The longer you wait, the longer it gets.

I don't think I would mind seeing you grow it back out a little :3
But with summer around the corner I'm not sure if now is the best time. All that hair gets pretty hot, doesn't it?

Pfft if I don't straighten it I look like a preteen Hermoine Granger.

Yeah, short is definitely easier, and I'm less tempted to get lazy and wear ponytails everyday. Also a few months ago you were begging me to shave it all off into a super-pixie, what's the deal?

long post incoming:

I work out 2 days on, one day off.
First day is body weight exercises: a couple types of situps, wide-armed chin-ups, handstand push-ups, pistols (I still suck at these), and flags. I also started planche holds (working towards full planche push-ups) a couple of months ago, which has resulted in a lot of shoulder muscle I never had before. I also just started working towards one-armed chin-ups last month, but I'm still nowhere close.

Second day is weights. This is actually my easier day right now, since I don't have access to a gym at the moment (I have some weights my dad left behind when he moved out). I do bench presses, standing presses, shoulder fly's, curls, weighted planks, maaaybe squat thrusts (I have issues with squats personally [that's why I do pistols], but they should definitely be part of most people's exercises).

I normally run, but the winter here (outside of Thunder Bay) prevented that. I'm just starting to run again this past week. I was skipping rope all winter for cardio instead. Normally I do this cardio on bodyweight days, but since they've become harder I've been running on weights days.

The thing is, I don't need to do half this stuff, but I've got issues with compulsive exercise and eating properly. I've been pretty good about it lately, but I still have a tendency to over-exercise and under-eat.

Don't do everything I do. Handstand push-ups & presses use pretty much the same muscles, the curls aren't necessary (I'm not letting myself add any more weight to those or my bench presses), and I probably don't need to do planks either.

TL;DR Just take the advice of Fitness-GAF, stick to the basic compound lifts (squat, bench, standing, deadlift, w/e), and a couple pull-ups (wide-armed target the back and shoulders more) and some bicycle sit-ups.

What can I say? I go for the extremes.
