Heh, yea it does look that way. Surprisingly enough, the same way a baseball splits open was the way I imagine I did.
You can't just go posting pics like that with no explanation.
Sorry, it was my daughters bath time/ bed time and I was short on time. But yea, that was leaving a lot to interpretation. My friends tell me I should go to bars and tell everyone I was mauled by a bear.

You hit on it pretty quick. I developed Meningitis two years ago. To me it seemed like a bad cold and I was just pushing through it. Then one of the last things I remember I was sitting at my computer before falling over. The Meningitis had developed into encephalitis and threw me into seizures. I was completely out of it for almost 2 weeks. Completely out. I don't remember anything. But from what my friends/family tell me i would sometimes have a conversation, or seize, or stand up and rip IV's out of my arm, or just sit there and stare off into nowhere.
It was all viral, not bacterial. I believe it was because I had built up enough fluid in my right lung for it to collapse 75% of it. Though I didn't notice this until I was release from the hospital and started coughing up blood a month later. (I had complained about sever back pain a month before, a common symptom of the fluid building up)
Since then I've been battling the seizures constantly. They've been occuring almost every 2 weeks and i've been taking a cabinet full of pills, morning/night. Until this year!
Earlier this year I had surgery to remove a quarter sized global piece of brain tissue. I wanted them to let me have it as a paper weight but they said ney. Regardless, I drove for the first time in almost two years 7 days ago. Pretty exciting.
