OMG wizard is so cute. I love cats that look like that. Makes me sad I can't have one :(

Awwww that kitten is too cute. What's it's name?

He's called Musti, which is a typical finnish name for a black dog :lol

Basically it means Blackie or something. He's named after a similar totally black cat that my mom and my aunt grew up with, and which died like 8 years ago.

EDIT:

I guess this thread is pretty good for asking this. So, I'm very allergic to hairy animals myself, but I love all those fluffy animals. :( Mostly the problem is with cats, dogs don't make me have symptoms as much.

Anyway, are there any cat breeds that are allergy friendly? I'd like a cat more because they're more silent & calm and as far as I know, they are easier to maintain than dogs.

The ones I know are korat and russian blue. (Jos olet tosiaan Suomesta, niin ihan korat ja venäjän sininen)

My old dog and cat both died in January and February respectively (dog was 16; cat was 18), but a few months ago we got a new dog:

No idea why the picture came out like this. Regardless it's fitting since he's the goofiest and craziest dog I've ever had.

Jacob Japonica Roux with Ms. Kitty.

We got him about 10 years ago from the Japonica St animal shelter in New Orleans. She's the stray that now lives in our front yard; she's convinced that jake is a big cat, and that he's her boyfriend.

They look like they're a couple. I've always wanted a grey/black tint cat they look so soft.

Lucky dog.

She is a chow, we named her stumpy because she had no tail. She passed away when she was 13 years old. She was a grizzly stump! She shall be missed :{

Awww she's beautiful! I had a Keeshond/Samoyed mix when I was a kid that looked like her. She was gray where your puppy was red. But the face was so similar!

You guys have some absolutely gorgeous pets!!! Thanks for posting all these. I don't get to see my dogs at my folks house very often. This thread is killing me!

Ahh, I miss my rats. I had them trained to hang out in a tree outside my window all day :D Rats names where Digit & Barney. Sadly I don't have any photos of them.

Emo, my fat black dumb cat

I saw this picture with a lolcat caption all over the internet. Your cat is FAMOUS!

Edit: Hope I don't mix it up with another cat, but I'm pretty sure. Confirm/deny plz

I want to contribute to this thread too, so here goes...

First I'd like to introduce you to Tom, he was a dachshund and he was the one who meant the most to me of our dogs. We had to put him to sleep in March just a few days before his twelfth birthday. Fuck you cancer :(((

Tim is now the oldest of our dogs, he's 3 years old and a dwarfschnauzer. He's pretty much the opposite of what a schnauzer is supposed to be (they are usually aggressive and very energetic).

Loke and Tass are the youngest, they are just over 12 months of age now. Loke is the black one and Tass is dark grey with white legs. They are Tims little brothers (they have the same mom). Loke is actually the biggest of all three now but he's a bit of a coward. Tass is very curious and has no problem to walk up to things that both Tim and Loke are reluctant to get close to.

First pics of Loke and Tass when they were pups:

This picture was taken on the day we brought them to our home. I was sitting on the floor with them and after a while they decided to climb into my lap. :)

Picture of when they got their first "furcut" (iirc they were about 8 months then):

And one last pic where the gang is together:

Really? I didn't caption it, so if you happen to have that pic, please share! I will show it to him so he can have yet another excuse to sleep through the whole day.
Don't have it, will share once I trip over it again.

Do they yip?

yeah sometimes when he wants something or if you're ignoring him(like when playing video games:lol ). it ranges, he'll full on bark when he wants to go for a walk or go to the bathroom outside if you're taking too long.

its a pretty big change because i used to have a rottweiler( he was 15 and got cancer, we had to have him put down last year) and he wasn't nearly as vocal as the Yorkie.

also you pretty much have to brush them every day,cut their hair every other month and bathe them once a week or so if you're going to keep their hair long, i know someone who had to learn that the hard way. her dogs hair basically turned into dreadlocks in some places and she had to shave it lol.

their hair doesn't stop growing
and can get this long or longer

i prefer their hair around this length

Your cat is awesome, especially the youtube clip of his fly hunting, my cat does the exact same thing, well ... he catches them and then he's too stupid to kill it so they fly away all the time.
