POST PICTURES / LISTS OF YOUR COLLECTION [2006 EDITION]

Have you added to your cab collection since those pictures in your game room section were last modified?

I am so jealous of your sit down S.T.U.N. Runner, how much did you pay for it?

Actually, yeah! I picked up a Donkey Kong 3 a few days ago. As for S.T.U.N. Runner, you may be surprised to hear that it was only $160.

Jezus did you actually finish half of these games :)

I actually did a tally the other day. I've finished about 3/5 of my games.

Updated thanks to RE4 and Deadly Silence.

BIG thanks to Wario64 for the RE Outbreak beta Disc! Thanks to DCharlie and jonnyram for helping me find many of these half a year ago. Thanks to Defensor for the BH controller (not pictured).

Holy mother fuck. That's like my brother's Mega Man collection. Maybe a little bigger.

Here my fat list so far:

Here's my modest-but-sufficient (I think) collection. This is on a high-schooler's salary.

collection1.jpg

Some GBA games (I didn't order enough sniny cases for them all) and my DS games. Chronicles or Narnia is my little cousins. :lol

collection2.jpg

Gamecube collection.

collection3.jpg

PS2 games. I've only had it since Christmas. Hmm...I seem to be missing one. MGS2.

collection4.jpg

Jumbled picture of some music game peripherals and consoles.

collection5.jpg

NES and N64 stuff.

pict01688om.jpg

At 498 total. I still lament losing about 200-300 older games in a move, pretty much every NES/SNES/Genesis worth owning, along with about 100 guides, many of them very rare. I've got a pic of our guides on another shelf somewhere I think, we've probably got maybe 150 or so now.

People who come in this room can't believe what they're seeing. That makes it all worthwhile.

My collection is currently just my PSP and a couple of games.. just ask me if you want a picture ;)

All my beloved consoles and games are in Denmark - the reason being that I haven't got time to play them here in London... og yeah, and no TV either..

Only six versions of the same game? Loser :P
But seriously, you should buy the European GC version - best.Re4.cover.ever.

Have to get N64, SNES and more GBA games from parent's house...
I'm also waiting for all the GCN Resident Evil games I won in an auction :D

Does anybody know where to get those nice GBA plastic boxes that .Hacked has?

aren't that the official GBA cases in the US?

That reminds me, i still need to get a couple more GBA case slips printed out...
(11 more to take down to Kinko's...)

I haven't taken any pics of mine lately. It's been disorganized since I moved.
US GBA cases are cardboard with a notch to hold the GBA game in at the top. They are NOT durable or even reusable in anyway.

This is what they look like organized... (OLD Pic)

You really need to add the PAL versions of Resident Evil 4 to your collection: Best RE boxart ever.

Tiny update, got pics of the DS and my huge PS2 collection :lol
(I hate PAL DS cases & covers. I also hate PAL PS2 covers, re-printed backside)

You can't order stuff from NoAus? Try calling them and asking.

I'm hesitant to call what I have a 'collection' since I tend to rely on my brother's games. Here's what I have anyway, and since the stick I had made finally arrived, behold!

Nice! Finkle stick! I have one as well.

I don't think anyone here on GAF can top my arcade stick collection though. :)

Nice stuff.

finkle is a god among men. I'm amazed at how good the stick feels. Have you posted your stick collection here?

Here's an old post on another forum. These pics are kinda old, so my collection has had a lot more additions since then.

-----

I'm a huge fighting game nut... here's some pics of my fighting game stuff(my current gaming collection is way too much then I'd like to picture...about 40 systems and over 600 games)... hope you guys don't mind...

Before posting the pictures, I'd like everyone to know I am an HUGE Tekken fan and of course I love all kinds of fighting games too. You may notice multiple copies of certain games... and think... What would someone do with 3 copies of Tekken Tag Tournament??? :scratches head: Well I also run tournaments and host gatherings regularly where a large group of friends and I just battle it out in varous games. So that's why.

Unpacking the fighting games took longer than I thought... the hard part was locating them...

Another shot.

I LOVE FIGHTING GAMES(AND FIGHTING GAME STUFF)!!!

Part 2...

--------

Christmas came early this year... I attended a company party today... a new videogame magazine is going to hit newstands in Spring 2006. Be ready for it. A LOT of it's features will focus on FIGHTING GAMES... the first issue should have TEKKEN 5 DARK RESURRECTION and Dead or Alive 4 with in depth strats/information on the game... think Arcadia and Japan... that's the direction we're going towards... but anyways... more about the party... look what I got today! The CEO freakin' loves his employees...

74719246_497411aa18.jpg

3 Hori Arcade sticks...(and if you know me, I'm a huge fan/collector of arcade sticks).... Dead or Alive 4 stick for the 360, Fighting Stick EX for the Xbox, and the GCN Fighting Stick... :)

74719249_2319740be9.jpg

The Hori Real Arcade Pro 2 arcade stick... the most beautiful fuckin retail stick in my opinion...

74719250_13ed75574d.jpg

And finally the limited to 500, Street Fighter: Eternal Challenge hardcover book... :)

Great Christmas so far... :)

------------

Check out my latest pick-up...

I've been planning on getting an arcade cabinet for awhile now. I've always wanted a Japanese style cabinet like a Sega Astro City or a Versus City cabinet. But with this one so close by to my house(2 min drive) I couldn't resist!

Just got this in a few hours ago. Had to hurry to tote it over to my place because it was startin' to rain. Thankfully it just started pouring after we got to my place instead of while we were en route.

86627087_9e67de81d9_o.jpg

It used to be a Tekken 2 cabinet. Now it houses good old Tekken Tag. Everything is in good working order from what I tested at the former owner's place.

86626952_b851e40cbd_o.jpg

The only thing I want to do is replace the stick/buttons and the plexiglass on the control panel. After that it should be good to go for regular play!

--------

Hello! Just thought I'd share. I modded my HRAP2 and changed the buttons with Seimitsu PS-14-GX buttons. (I apologize for the shitty picture, taken with my cell phone.)

109399511_f457c3bee3_o.jpg

109399510_c3aaffcdde_o.jpg

Now I like the look. But someone else modded theirs with 24MM Seimitsu PS-14-D Red start buttons and it's making me want to change mine to look like this:

hrap20le.jpg

If anyone else is interested in a joystick like this... www.VGONetwork.com will restock on HRAP1 and HRAP2 in the next coming weeks or so. And parts can be ordered at either VGO or http://www.akihabarashop.com ...

---------

There you have it. That's a good portion of my arcade sticks and fighting game stuff. Add like 3 more Namco arcade sticks and a HRAP, and another DoA4 stick.

Make sure you guys check out the first issue of High-Score Magazine on newstands the end of March/Early April. There's going to a feature on arcade joysticks for home consoles and where to get em'. There will also be a nice 10+ page feature on Tekken 5: Dark Resurrection filled with combos/strats.

Everyone else post up your arcade sticks!
