Deeper. At the risk of being just completely off topic, honestly the Apple Store lines pic makes me question humanity the most.

"Ah, but a man's reach should exceed his grasp,
Or what's a heaven for?"
-Robert Browning

This is amazing, in a good way. The other pictures mostly depress me. Can't believe we've done some of the shit we've done.

It would be helpful to post info with ambiguous photos.

Maybe I'm a space nerd but I can't see how that photo could possibly be ambiguous.

It's the ISS and the Space Shuttle. One of my favourite memories is seeing two dots race across the night sky as the shuttle went in to dock.

I disagree I actually liked the first movie. Then again, I was drunk when I watched it so I might want to go watch it again to really see.

I'll frame this thread for you.

There is no reason this has to exist. It's not deplorable, it's not bad, it's not wrong, or anything like that. it's just. why?
It's just a big nice pizza. I'd get that with my friends, nothing special really.

His parents are to blame, why have kids if you can't support them.
an internet classic imo

Stupid people exist unfortunately, I've learned to just accept them.
Turkey can go die for all I care, doing the genocide is 1 thing but not accepting that it happened is something else.

And

I'm not going to post any pictures other than the one of their facility but the experiments done by Japanese unit 731 during WWII.
Think of the most deprived scene you can think of from the most gruesome horror movie you've seen.
They did worse.

Somewhere between 3,000-10,000 people were experimented on and died at their main facility and an estimated half million died from them unleashing various plagues and diseases on villages to study the effects.

Just reading about it gave me nightmares of being a participant in a vivisection without anesthesia, after being infected by some disease or plague.

Oh and all the researchers involved were granted full immunity in exchange for handing over all their data and cooperating with the US biological weapons program.

Russia captured 12 members of unit 731 (possibly from some other biological groups as well) and tried them, found all guilty and sentenced them all to labor camps for up to 25 years.
There were some issues with the trial but the findings and data were accurate and published in English but were dismissed as communist propaganda.

If you really want to know more.

This. Ugh. The American gov. just let the "scientists" go free.
