Maybe I'm wrong, but I feel that many people don't appreciate the N3DS faceplates. It's such a cool accessory and most of the designs are gorgeous.

I think it's time for us to show our love for those pieces of plastic. I hope Nintendo does something similar with NX handheld! What about you?

Faceplates make me want to buy a N3DS (I own N3DS XL).

I also have a pair of Australia No. 39 that are gorgeous but I'm afraid of using because the edges are done in a metallic golden paint that looks like a scratch magnet.

Many of the faceplates in this thread and overall are cute. Wished there were faceplates for the XL version, but alas...

I want to buy the Boo cover for my buddy. Its a cute little cover and most important of all its glow in the dark. Problem is is that in Amazon Japan its $237 for a brand new one, and I'm certain that in Amazon USA its the same thing...

Also when Nintendo NYC was remolded, they were actually selling the Boo covers on day one. Of course it went by with the quickness by the time the grand opening came and went. If I lived in NYC I would not have minded to stay in line, or if I had known they were going to sell it that day I would had taken the day off or two from work and flown to NYC...

I only have two, the kanji ambassador ones and the black triforce one. I think I like the black triforce one more.

I also have this game and watch themed clock that fits into the faceplate holder... thingy. I don't think it's made by Nintendo, though. It's also pretty ugly.

I'm actually not sure if I'll ever get a regular new 3DS, lol. I have 3 3DS systems (1 OG box, 1 XL A Link BW, 1N3DSXL Majora's Mask). It's hard for me to justify buying another one.

I have these and they're cracking, it's really sad. Around the curves on the bottom of the 3DS they've started showing really thin white lines.

But they do now have the Euro only Yoshi Faceplate.
