Potato Chips!

UK/US/German chip suck, don't know wth sort of oils/methods you use, but they always taste wierdly slightly stale/off and have a wierd oily surface. Lays are just about the most horrible thing I've tasted, Pringles is awfull. Rapeseed oil is where it's at.

Estrella is where it is at, alongside their dipmixes (mixed w. sourmilk).

Worst memory ever with chips, Pringles fat free tried on the market in Columbus, Ohio, they came out like little rockets at the other end... :P

Fun fact: Jay's Potato Chips used to be called Mr. Japp's Potato Chips and it was changed around WW2.

That said, these USED to be my favorite:

Hmm.....seems like I can't attach an image (not enough posts?) but those saying Kettle got the brand right and the flavour wrong.

Kettle Brand Honey Dijon is the right answer.

Sweet Chili Garlic would also be accepted.

Utz chips are still my favorite. Brought back a couple of bags of crab chips from the east coast, since you don't see them out in CA.

There's one japanese chip brand that's super good but the name escapes me, but they don't seem to have them at the store all the time. Nice peppery spicy flavor.

Gotta go with these and an awesome dip:

Then these if I don't got a dip:

Tim's make a solid-ass chip but I love the Jalapeno the most. My only problem with flavored chips is if I eat too many then all I can taste is MSG.

In the future I'm gonna experiment with a pickle and celery salt flavor.

Lay's Kettle cooked Sea Salt and Cracked Black Pepper is my crack.

It's perfectly crunchy, and the saltiness is so addicting. At one time, I bought a bag every 2 days. It got bad. So good.

Baked Cool Ranch Doritos were my absolute favorite but they don't sell them anymore.

So Lays(with French onion dip) and Taco Doritos are my favorite.

Estrella Grillchips
Estrella Dillchips
Estrella Sourcream and onion
(Estrella) Västkustchips Gräddfil & Lök
OLWs extra tunna chips are pretty good too. And of course OLWs Naturchips. Going to see if I can find any Vårlök & Svartpeppar tomorrow.

I also love salt och peppar-chips, but I cant remember the brand since it was a long time ago I had some.

Salt + vingear, all the way, every way.

I still haven't found the perfect brand.
Are you in the US?

For Salt & Vinegar, kettle cooked is best, and the following three brands are all just about perfect in their own ways:

Kettle Brand
Lay's Kettle (regular or reduced fat)
Cape Cod (regular or reduced fat)

Kettle Brand makes a really potent chip. Heaviest on the vinegar that I've had. To me at least, this is a good thing.

But have you tried the GOAT german chips?

That's funny. It's Kettle Brand but Kirkland (Costco) slapped their name on it because it's the massive bag only they sell.

Wholesale potato chips, yo. Costco's on it.

And it's a damn good chip. I always get a bag for parties and people can't stop eating them

Lays Salt and Vinegar is the best.

Well, until you burn your tongue off and can't eat food for a day.

But then your tongue recharges and Lays Salt and Vinegar is the best.

Lays chips are the worst option IMO, I'll still eat them though if someone else had bought them. When I'm shopping for chips I go to Utz, which I think is regional. Herrs is next after that. At that point it's whatever else, don't care

Västkust Sourcream and Onion chips.

Crispy as hell and so deliciously spiced.

OLW's 3xOnion

Crack cocaine in potato chip form. All that onion flavor makes my mouth water.
