Too many masters. They have to satisfy Saban, Toei, Bandai, and Nick. It doesn't help that Saban is stuck in the 90s.

Saban tried to relive the Might Morphin glory days and forgot times have changed. Also forgot that Space-Wildforce(don't even like Wildforce) had better writing.

This was my starting series (around here actually!) Karone and Vypra, man. They did something to 4/5 y/o me.

The top seasons are the most view seasons for a reason (besides RPM but that was screwed). When shows don't talk down to kids they tend to enjoy it. A good story or show content is stimulating for the minds of these kids. No idea why one must dumb down a show for the demographic. Usually Disney or Dreamworks when they have kids movie they still have content for older crowds to enjoy as well. Most of the time the themes and adult jokes go over kids heads any and if it doesn't then it's a great opportunity for them to learn....sigh

Dino Charge first half was actually a good start, shame it went downhill after that

Indeed, this is very noticeable in their dub of Digimon Xros Wars.
Relying on outdated 90's localization tropes like Americanized names and "lull destruction", in that NOBODY SHUTS UP

The fact Ninja Steel relies on a pair of Bulk & Skull-esque "bully" characters from comic relief really shows how stuck they are in the "glory days". It's weird since Dino Charge was good without the need for that. At least fans are having fun with one of the bullies looking like a high school dad and not a student, and the possibility that they're gay.
 
Honestly, Karone is keeping me here for Lost Galaxy. Yeah she's pretty, but after In Space, she's also the most interesting character here.

I started with MMPR. Even as a young kid I knew I had a crush on Kimberly. As the seasons went on and the girls outfits got more revealing. The show was growing up with me in that regard :)

Yea. It's quite good development for her. I've been paying attention since the cross over episode. So I'll watch this until the season is over.

Never saw lightspeed so I'm glad I'll be here for that for a bit.

They basically just ignored it. The army of the Alliance of Evil shown getting killed on screen remained dead, but apparently there were off screen villains everywhere that survived it just fine.

Oddest thing is that they easily could have use the "Lost Galaxy" that the series is named after as an excuse for that, but they don't.
 
So I had to dip out last night after watching all of In Space and the beginning of Lost Galaxy. How have you guys been enjoying the season? I see Astromena has made her return.

I straight up didn't really pay attention until the crossover. Now I want to see how this ends.
