If people haven't seen TF before, the first 4 episodes are essential viewing. If you can't make those, I would suggest tuning in at episode 12, which is when the 6th ranger plot begins.

And if you REALLY can't wake up in time, try to stop in by episode 27 which is when shit gets real.

1-4 set up the narrative and 12-13 begin the Quantum ranger arc. I suggest watching all of them because there's a lot of character building but those are what I consider essential.
