Watching Wild Force made me realize that as bad as this season is, it's the only season to do the animal zord theme any justice. They're not just zords to the rangers. This crew really cares for each and every one of their zords as if they were family. I give em props for that.
After Time Force and the like, I hate how Wild Force does the credits. I miss the freeze frame and tbc's.
It does have that but this version doesn't show it

I knew I wasn't crazy! You can head the zord combining in the credit, they just have the text taking up the full screen.
I know because mob mentality is boss right? /s
No, but Power Rangers in its current state pales in comparison to MMPR-TF and NS-RPM (skipped WF because nobody wants that again). Watching this marathon really put into perspective how bad current series are. Yeah, the production values are higher and they can give us good suits and sometimes good fights. I won't even say the actors are bad either. The problem is the dang story and how they speak to the audience.
They treat the viewers like they're toddlers. Power Rangers may be a kids show but In Zeo, In Space, and Time Force show that although it may be a kid show, you don't have to cater to your lowest denominator. You can tell proper stories with arcs and character development and world building while still appealing to kids. Go watch Steven Universe, Gumball, Clarence, Harvey Beaks, or even Adventure Time to see what kids shows are today. Then compare how those shows treat kids to how Power Rangers treats kids. It's like we're watching an after-school special instead of a series that was almost a prime-time TV show.
Samurai copied everything from its Japanese (JP) counterpart EXCEPT for the actual character-developing moment, leaving a bunch of people that have one-dimetional personalities. I will admit that Jayden (Samurai Red) goes through a very slight shift from loner to team player, but it happened in two episodes. It's ridiculous
Megaforce is a season that deserves a thread for how many problem it has, but at its core are the bland characters. Troy (red ranger) is more robotic than the actual robot on their team. These people were supposed to be PEOPLE, yet for whatever reason, Tzachor or someone on the team felt the need to strip the rangers of their personalities. Gia has it the worst. Her team at least has some qualities. Gia's just the spunky yellow ranger who's best friends with Emma. That's it. And don't even get me started on Super Megaforce Silver. This dude had so much potential that was squandered.
