It kinda sucks that TJ didn't get to be the leader for space. He only got half a season as the Turbo leader and then Andros who isn't a leader at all gets the red ranger mantle

I think his actor might have played some role in him being sidelined. His voice was very stiff back in Turbo, even for Power Rangers - and after Space's introduction he seemed to be even behind Carlos even in the American footage. Midway through Space, when he seemed to have improved somewhat they started pushing him to the forefront again.
