I wasn't crazy about the ending of this series. The tonal shift in that last handful of episodes was jarring. It was hard seeing the best comedic villain family since Rita & co. self destruct like that. But of course it makes sense. They needed a finale.

Overall, that was honestly one of my S-tier favorite seasons just on this first watch. Sharp writing. Lovable characters. Every episode worked, even the fluff. Ninja Storm deserved three seasons and a movie tbh.

Way better season than everyone was expecting, all sorts of fun.
It wasn't as compelling as other seasons since the overall plot and characters deliberately were very silly, but as a breezy season more in the vein of MMPR it worked.
