Lost Galaxy, although having no Zordon and featuring a completely new main team in the beginning is still pretty much a direct continuation of the Zordon era in several aspects, including past characters. It's only afterwards the shows become completely standalone aside from specific crossover episodes (aside from Dino Thunder and Super Mega Force, but the later handles it very badly).
