POWER STONE COLLECTION for PSP

This is so amazing I have to post twice. First the G & G media, which already was white hot. Both Megaman Games, and then this.

I for one welcome Capcom as our new overlord

woah...

this was sort of my "baseless prediction" for capcom conference. ill be watching for lightning strikes on the way home today.

I don't think I could take the announcement of a Power Stone 3.

Until 5 minutes ago I'd completely given up on ever seeing it again.

Yeah, you know... I wouldn't mind a PM about that myself. :D

As if anyone PM's junior members :'(

Damn, Powerstone. That is HOT SHIT. I haven't thought about that game in years, but man did I have some fun with the imports.

I doubt you could say much even if you knew, but Matlock, any word on a Power Stone game being released for PS2 as well?

OMFG now I'm sold on PSP!!! Finally!! :lol

All they need to release now is Rival Schools Collection and I'll be heaven :D

PortStationPortable FTW!!!

Great news, indeed :)

... but since I don't know anyone with a PSP I will continue to play Power Stone on my Dreamcast.

Dude, if they didn't put in online multiplayer for Monster Hunter, there is little, if any, chance of it happening on any other game. I share your pain, though.

I don't see the big deal about Puzzle Fighter on PSP itself. Already on GBA.

Now the puzzle compilation as a whole? Badass.
Super Puzzle Fighter II is my favorite puzzle game ever (beating Lumines, Tetris, and even Puyo Puyo), so this is a big deal for me.

Because I want a full version with all features, not a weak ass port with slowdown, missing extras, and more (don't even bother arguing that this is not the case on the GBA game, because it is).

As a diehard Puzzle Fighter fan, this is pretty much the best news ever. Now we get likely a perfect port, with all the extras the PSX and other versions had, PLUS exclusive modes that previously were only in Japanese version of the game.

It's seriously the best news ever since Mother 3.

In truth. DS AM CRY.

It's true. :((((((( This is brutal for DS-only-owning, Capcom whores like me. I can't even afford 2 games anymore, let alone a PSP + lots of Capcom games.

All along I was hoping Capcom would bring a wifi Powerstone to the DS, but seeing how old that series is I didn't actually think Capcom would bring it back... and now this. Just my luck.

I need a job. Badly!

If it has online play, I'll wet myself. There's zero excuse for it not to have it. I already got it on PSX and GBA, so I'm not -that- excited for another version.

.. Not that I won't get it again, heh. Cause I will. Just sayin'.

As a rule, I don't care much about ports... but they announced pretty much the only two ports that could get me excited. How they nailed it so exactly on the target, I don't know... but if they don't sell, it'd be a crime. Cause this is damn perfect.

There's way to much positiveness in this thread - let me balance it out a bit.

Jeezus y'all, you're getting giddy over an old arcade port? Yay! A game that I have that is collecting dust on my Dreamcast because no one wants to play it anymore is going to be released on a portable that not many folks around me play! Of course it won't be online, it won't have the gameplay precision of a Dreamcast or arcade joystick, and the extras will probably not be too different from the the same stuff that we played on our DCs 5 years ago. Where's the original games, Capcom? Where's the new IPs? Where's the game software that really takes advantage of the hardware with quick loadtimes, multiplayer, beautiful graphics, and quick session gameplay? I guess arcade games come close to defining that request. So should I get all fanboyish when Capcom releases Strider and Gigawing on the PSP too?! BAH! If I wanted Arcade ports, I'd play an emulator.

There. I'm done.

having said that:
SWEET! Can't wait to see the extras! I'm all over this when it's released!
